In this role, you will design, develop, and optimize high-performance C/C++ software for simulation debug and visualization workflows, solving complex, open-ended problems in collaboration with a senior group of engineers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and optimize high-performance C/C++ software for simulation debug and visualization workflows.\nBuild and enhance core debug engines, including data models, indexing structures, and visualization backends.\nDevelop scalable data structures and algorithms to handle very large simulation datasets.\nContribute to the development and enhancement of production-quality components, algorithms, and engines while supporting and improving existing codebases.\nSolve complex, open-ended problems in collaboration with a senior group of engineers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.\nImprove performance, memory efficiency, and scalability for multi-million-signal, long-running simulations.\nStay self-motivated, disciplined, and focused while driving innovation within the team.\nQualifications\nRequired:\n12+ years of progressive software engineering experience with a strong background in C/C++, Data Structures, Algorithms, and Qt.\nExperience with conceptualizing, defining, architecting, and implementing an open-ended problem scope or new ideas.\nStrong proficiency in programming languages like C/C++, along with a strong foundation in algorithms and data structures.\nExperience designing high-performance, large-scale systems software.\nStrong understanding of Compiler Concepts, Optimizations, and parallel computing.\nExperience working on UNIX and/or LINUX platforms.\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills.\nProven ability to work independently, take ownership of tasks, and deliver results.\nA Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.\nPreferred:\nBasic knowledge of Digital Electronics and concepts related to SystemVerilog, Verilog, and VHDL.\nExposure to Simulation technologies or Formal-based Verification methodologies.\n Why Us\nAt Siemens Software, flexibility is how we work-hybrid by default, built on trust and autonomy.
