You will identify and mitigate security risks, perform security assessments and penetration testing, support vulnerability management and compliance activities, and drive security improvements across cloud and on-premises environments. You'll combine strong technical cybersecurity expertise with a proactive mindset to help teams build and operate secure, reliable, and compliant solutions.\nKey Responsibilities\nAct as the cybersecurity focal point for assigned products and development teams, providing guidance on security requirements, risks, and best practices\nPerform security assessments, threat modeling, risk evaluations, and architecture reviews to identify and mitigate security risks early in the development lifecycle\nConduct and coordinate penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, and security validation exercises across applications, infrastructure, APIs, and cloud environments\nDrive remediation activities by working closely with development and operations teams to address security findings and reduce organizational risk\nSupport Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SSDLC) implementation and DevSecOps practices, including security testing and security-by-design principles\nMonitor and manage security vulnerabilities, support compliance activities for cybersecurity standards, and participate in security incident investigations\nQualifications\nBachelor's degree in engineering or computer science\n3-5 years of experience in cybersecurity, information security, application security, DevSecOps, or related security discipline\nStrong hands-on experience in penetration testing and vulnerability assessment across web applications, APIs, infrastructure, and cloud environments\nDemonstrated experience identifying, validating, and remediating security vulnerabilities using industry-standard security tools and methodologies\nSolid understanding of secure software development practices, SSDLC, OWASP Top 10, threat modeling, and secure coding principles\nKnowledge of cloud security concepts and platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Kubernetes\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to explain technical security concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences\nPreferred:\nProfessional certifications such as OSCP, CEH, Security+, AWS Security Specialty, or CKS\nExperience with application security testing technologies (SAST, DAST, dependency analysis, container security scanning)\nKnowledge of security frameworks and standards (ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST Cybersecurity Framework, IEC 62443, or similar)\nProgramming and scripting skills in Python, Java, JavaScript, C#, Go, or Bash for developing security tools and automating security processes\nWhy Us\nWe are Siemens: At Siemens Software, flexibility is how we work-hybrid by default, built on trust and autonomy.
