At Siemens DI Automation Congleton, we design and manufacture AC motor controllers to enhance machine, performance, support digitalisation, and help customers reduce their carbon footprint.\nWhat Will You Be Doing?\nYou’ll be based in Congleton, with an expectation to be on-site 4 days per week to help you learn, connect, and thrive. During this apprenticeship you will be working towards an BEng (Hons) Degree in Electronics & Electrical Engineering.\nYour role will include:\nDevelop a foundational understanding of electrical principles and the functionality of common electric components \nDesign and build simple and complex circuits, using computer-aided tools for modelling and testing\nProduce well-structured, maintainable code while applying effective project planning and organisational skills \nLearn to use industry-leading tools and technologies for electronic motor control systems.\nCollaborate with engineers, designers and stakeholders to deliver embedded systems that meet all technical and functional requirements. \nWhat We’re Looking For\nWe focus on potential, curiosity, and your drive to learn rather than a laundry list of past experience.\nAchieved at least 5 GCSE's grade 4 or above including Maths and English Language. \nAchieved or predicted to achieve A Level (or equivalent) in Maths and at least on further STEM Based subjects such as Physics, ICT, Computing, Engineering or Electronics ( Grade C or above) \nPassionate about making an impact, with curiosity and a proactive approach to learning.\nCollaborative team player who takes initiative and contributes ideas to drive success.\nStrong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders\nConfident communicator with excellent verbal and written skills.\nResilient and adaptable, able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines\nOur Fair & Transparent Process: No CV Bias\nWe want everyone to have an equal chance to shine.
