This role is ideal for a candidate with 3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or platform engineering, and a strong interest in automation, deployment pipelines, and cloud operations.\nThe ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with AWS, Terraform, and other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, along with a good understanding of CI/CD practices, system reliability, and cloud infrastructure management.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport the design, implementation, and maintenance of cloud infrastructure on AWS\nDevelop and manage infrastructure using Terraform and other IaC tools\nAssist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines for application deployment and infrastructure automation\nCollaborate with software engineering teams to improve deployment processes, scalability, and operational efficiency\nMonitor cloud environments and help ensure system reliability, security, and performance\nAutomate repetitive operational tasks to improve efficiency and consistency\nSupport troubleshooting of infrastructure, deployment, and environment-related issues\nParticipate in managing cloud resources, networking, permissions, and environment configurations\nContribute to documentation for infrastructure, deployment processes, and operational procedures\nFollow DevOps best practices for release management, automation, monitoring, and incident response\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in computer engineering, Computer Science or a related field\n3+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud engineering, system administration, or a related role\nHands-on experience with AWS\nExperience with Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and management\nFamiliarity with other IaC tools such as CloudFormation, Ansible, or similar\nUnderstanding of CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions, or similar\nExperience with Linux environments and shell scripting\nFamiliarity with Git and version control best practices\nBasic understanding of networking, cloud security, IAM, and system monitoring\nStrong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn in a fast-paced team environment\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with container technologies such as Docker\nFamiliarity with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes\nUnderstanding of monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK stack\nExposure to security best practices in cloud environments\nExperience working in Agile or cross-functional engineering teams\nWhy Us\nWe are Siemens: At Siemens Software, flexibility is how we work-hybrid by default, built on trust and autonomy.
