Siemens is a German technology conglomerate founded in Berlin in 1847 by Werner von Siemens around a telegraph that indicated letters rather than Morse code. After a decade of divestments it now concentrates on industry, infrastructure, transport and healthcare, supplying factory automation and control systems, building and grid technology, trains and signalling, and the Teamcenter and NX design software acquired through a long run of software purchases. The Siemens Xcelerator platform ties hardware to software and digital twins, and the group retains a majority stake in the separately listed medical imaging company Siemens Healthineers.

Here at Siemens, we take pride in enabling sustainable progress through technology. We do this through empowering customers by combining the real and digital worlds. Improving how we live, work, and move today and for the next generation! We know that the only way a business thrive is if our people are thriving. That’s why we always put our people first. Our global, diverse team would be happy to support you and challenge you to grow in new ways. Who knows where our shared journey will take you?

Protecting people, operations, and critical assets is at the heart of this Environmental Health and Safety Specialist role within the Electrical Products (EP) Business Unit. You will help strengthen a proactive culture of environmental, health, safety, and security excellence while supporting zero-harm goals, regulatory readiness, operational resilience, and environmental sustainability. Your work will directly influence how safely and efficiently electrical products are manufactured and how confidently employees, customers, and partners rely on our facility. This opportunity is based at our manufacturing facility in Grand Prairie, Texas, in an on-site environment, reporting to the EHS Team Lead and collaborating with cross-functional operations teams.

We are hiring for both 1st Shift and 2nd Shift.

Apply to this role for 2nd Shift: 3pm - 11pm

You will make an impact by:

  • Maintain site compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) 1910 standards, Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations, and all applicable federal, state, and local requirements.
  • Manage site security protocols, including access control, visitor management, closed-circuit television (CCTV), alarm monitoring, and coordination with third-party guard services to protect employees and company assets.
  • Coordinate with external security vendors and third-party guard services to support site integrity, service quality, and asset protection.
  • Conduct routine workplace safety and security inspections, hazard assessments, ergonomic reviews, and environmental monitoring; document findings and track corrective actions through closure.
  • Support investigations of workplace incidents, near misses, security breaches, and environmental releases; gather relevant information and assist with root cause analysis (RCA).
  • Deliver safety and security training, including new-hire orientations, toolbox talks, and specialized regulatory training related to personal protective equipment (PPE), hazard communication, lockout/tagout (LOTO), emergency preparedness, and site security.
  • Maintain accurate EHS and security records, compile performance metrics, and prepare reports for operations leadership and regulatory agencies using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Support site-wide initiatives involving PPE compliance, waste management, ergonomics, environmental sustainability, LOTO, hazard communication, and emergency preparedness.
  • Other duties as assigned.

You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:
