Smart infrastructure from Siemens makes the world a more connected and caring place where resources are valued, where impact on the world is considered, where sustainable energy is delivered optimally and efficiently.\n\nYour Role : \n\n- Technical lead in all aspects of Embedded software development and design.\n\n- Contributes to the development of strategic technology plans and project portfolio in own organization.\n\n- Apply and develop state-of-the-art research on Embedded Application Product-Lines.\n\n- Expertise in designing high performance oriented scalable embedded architecture.\n\n- Driving/taking lead for different Quality processes in product development to achieve required quality matrices like reviews for firmware artifacts (code and design reviews), code quality matrices, non-functional requirements such as performance and sizing, Root cause analysis techniques for problem solving.\n\nWhat we're looking for : \n\n- BE / ME in Electronics & Comm/ Electrical/CS.\n\n- 3 - 8 years experience of embedded software development.\n\n- Experience in Protection / Sub-Station Automation Industry is preferred.\n\nProduct Development Responsibilities : \n\n- Design and implement Software for embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment.\n\n- Design, develop, code, test, and review system software.\n\n- Analyse and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources.\n\n- Integrate and validate new product designs.\n\n- Support system/regression tests and optimize I/O performance.\n\n- Provide production/ post-production support.\n\n- Perform technical research, monitor current trends and changes in technology to assist in new product development.\n\nProfessional Knowledge : \n\n- Solid programming experience in C/ C++ (minimum 3 years).\n\n- Strong hands-on knowledge on Embedded Linux kernel internals & device drivers and rich hands-on experience in kernel driver development.\n\n- Strong knowledge in OS/Kernel concepts.\n\n- Hands on troubleshooting issues on run-time environment.\n\n- Good Understanding of Memories, RAMs, storage devices, high speed devices like USB, Ethernet.\n\n- Expertise in with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review.\n\n- Proficient in multi-threaded programming and middleware solution development on Linux.
