Or PhD in Computer Science, Electronics, Control Engineering or related areas\nProven 5+ years of experience developing software in Linux environment for embedded systems\nC/C++ programming for embedded systems\nExperience in developing software in Linux Embedded systems\nUnderstanding of OS thread scheduling Linux and IPC\nExperience with Ethernet technology (MAC and Physical layers), Ethernet switching and IP routing\nLayer 2/3 switch-fabrics (Marvel and/or Broadcom ASIC, PHY, MDIO interface)\nExperience in debugging and optimization of control-path and data-path execution flows\nBeing familiar with using git-based repositories (Azure DevOps, GitHub, Gitlab, etc.)\nVery good command of English\nExcellent interpersonal communication skills\nStrong problem solving and analytical skills\nOpen minded and highly collaborative\nAdditional “nice to have” strengths in the following areas:\n - Experience with L2 switching and/or L3 forwarding and routing protocols\n Exposure to Layer 2 LAN protocols: RSTP, IEEE 802.1X, IGMP, GVRP, VLAN\nExposure to Layer 3 protocols: TCP/IP, UDP, MPLS, BGP, IPSEC\n- Familiarity with AI tools (CoPilot, AI Attack) and other technologies.\n What else do I need to know?\n No restriction for travelling abroad\nCandidate will work with Siemens Canada\nFlexible working hours (Dailys: 19.30-20.00, Sprint Planning/Review (per 3 weeks): 18.00-21.00)\nAt Siemens we are always challenging ourselves to build a better future.
