You will create and manage purchase orders, follow up directly with suppliers, obtain quotations, and help ensure that materials and services are delivered in line with project requirements. Working within an international procurement team, you will build hands-on experience in supplier management, sourcing, SAP, and cross-functional collaboration while supporting a growing business and a fast-paced region.\nHow You’llMake an Impact\nParticipates in buying strategies to purchase and arrange timely deliveries of supplies and materials.\nServes as liaisonbetween vendors and users, getting prior approval for purchases.\nResolvesdelivery, qualityor other supplier related problems with purchases. \nParticipates in updating project plans and sourcing strategies\nReviews and analyzes requisitions and supply planfor domestic and international purchases.\nParticipates in the negotiation of prices, termsand quality requirements.\nPrepare requests for quotes and assistsin the development of new supply sources\nEvaluates market conditions. Solicits cost reduction ideas from suppliers and initiates follow up action to implement these savings for the company. \nManage the commercial relationship with the key suppliers through supplier visits and regular business reviews (contract status, quality performance, delivery performance etc)\nEnsure contractual coverage is in place through negotiating framework agreements and price agreements with the key suppliers\nProcess purchaserequisitions and create purchase orders for materials and services from major vendors. \nManage and close Purchase Orders, including invoice resolution, and act as the primary contact for operational interactions with key suppliers.\nEnsure compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and procurement regulations in all activities.\nUtilize digital procurement tools to manage supplier data, issue purchase orders, acquireorder acknowledgement.\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field; an engineering background is preferred.\nPreferably 5 years relevant work experience in Supply Chain, Sourcing &Procurement\nWorking knowledge of SAP or another ERP system; familiarity with digital procurement tools is an advantage.\nExperience in commodity or supply chain management, and contract management\nSolid track recordof delivering increased value and significant cost savings for partners and customers through strategic sourcing and supplier analysis.\nSelf-motivated and solutions oriented, with a mentality for challenging the status quo while building strong, collaborative relationships across all partner levels.\nStrong individual contributor, communication, and organizational skills with the ability to influence and challenge cross-functional teams to meet project objectives\nAbout the Team\nYou will join an international procurement organization supporting projects in a growing United States market. The role will work closely with colleagues in Procurement, Project Management, Tender Management, and other cross-functional areas, as well as with external suppliers.
