You will lead critical EHS initiatives, drive incident prevention and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) programs, and ensure compliance with industry regulations and global standards. Working across multidisciplinary teams, you will influence strategic decisions, mitigate operational risks, and help create a workplace where safety, sustainability, and continuous improvement are embedded in everything we do.How You’ll Make an Impact\nLead and promote a proactive EHS culture across Malaysia, ensuring compliance with local regulations, corporate requirements, and international standards.\nDrive incident management activities, including reporting, investigation, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), corrective actions, and lessons learned to prevent recurrence.\nPartner with business stakeholders, project teams, contractors, customers, and regulatory bodies to ensure effective EHS implementation throughout the project and operational lifecycle.\nPlan, conduct, and support internal audits, inspections, and external assessments while driving timely closure of audit findings and improvement actions.\nFacilitate risk assessments and provide guidance on hazard identification, risk mitigation, and risk management methodologies across business activities.\nLead EHS training and competency development programs to ensure employees and contractors meet required safety standards and qualifications.\nMonitor, analyze, and report EHS performance metrics while driving continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen operational excellence and organizational safety performance.\nWhat You Bring\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), Technical Safety, or a related discipline.\nValid DOSH Safety and Health Officer (SHO) certification.\n15+ years of progressive EHS experience, including leadership responsibilities within the energy, power generation, or oil & gas industry.\nStrong expertise in incident management, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), investigations, corrective actions, and preventive actions.\nSolid understanding of EHS legislation, regulatory compliance requirements, risk management, and management systems.\nExperience leading audits and inspections, with ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 Lead Auditor certification considered an advantage.\nExcellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams and organizational levels.\nAbout the Team\nOur Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization.
