This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in deal sourcing, investment analysis, and portfolio management within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.\nYou’ll make a difference by:\n Market Research & Analysis\nConduct industry and market research across various sectors which are relevant to Siemens technology (e.g. data centres, enetgy transition, rail) and geographies in Asia.\nAnalyze macroeconomic trends and regulatory developments impacting infrastructure and private equity investments.\nSupport in potential (ad-hoc) strategic initiatives (e.g. go-to-market assessment) by regional and/or global management\n Investment Evaluation\nAssist in screening and evaluating potential investment opportunities.\nSupport financial modeling and valuation analysis (DCF, multiples, review of assumptions, etc.).\nSupport preparing investment approval documents and presentation materials for internal discussions.\n Due Diligence Support\nParticipate in due diligence processes including reviewing company documents, financials, and operational data.\nAssist coordinating with external advisors (legal, technical, financial) and internal stakeholders (legal, tax, compliance etc) during transaction execution.\nPortfolio Monitoring\nAssist in tracking performance of portfolio companies and updating internal databases.\nSupport with reporting activities and performance reviews.\nTeam Collaboration\nWork closely with and support investment professionals across the Asia region.\nParticipate in and contribute to team meetings.\nSupport liaising with internal stakeholders in the region and in HQ in Europe.\n Your Defining Qualities:\nAcademic Excellence in Finance: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Economics with a strong academic track record.\nTechnical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to translate complex data sets into clear, visual stories.\nFoundational Finance Knowledge: A solid understanding of corporate finance principles, valuation methodologies, and the mechanics of private equity or structured finance.\nAnalytical Problem-Solving: A sharp eye for detail and the ability to work through complex financial problems independently in a fast-paced environment.\nEffective Communication: Strong verbal and written English skills, essential for drafting reports and collaborating with diverse stakeholders across the Asia-Pacific region.\nProactive Transaction Interest: Prior experience in transaction-based work or a demonstrable passion for infrastructure investments and cross-border deal execution.\nAble to commit from 6 months fromAug 2026.\nRecruitment Process:\nCV Screening\nA session with our recruiter to understand your motivation & your past experiences\n1-3 Business Interviews\nOffer Stage\nTransform the everyday with us!
