Siemens offers a broad portfolio of grid control and automation; low- and medium-voltage power distribution, switching and control; and building automation, fire safety and security, HVAC control and energy solutions\n Organization: Siemens Limited: Smart Infrastructure - SI EA O AIS THA\n Mode of employment: Full time only\n Functional Area: EHS.\n What are my responsibilities?\n Support the Factory Management in maintaining an effective EHS Management System with processes for the effective planning, organization, control, monitoring, review, and maintenance of the preventive and corrective measures\nEnsure implementation of Siemens EHS KPIs reporting system (EHS dashboards, incident investigations, Quentic, etc.) with focus on monitoring and continual improvement Implementation & monitoring of IMS (Integrated Management System) according to International Standards (ISO 14001, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001). Drive the EHS implementation\nKnowledge of 14489 Audit Standards\nOrganize & conduct monthly Safety round & meeting with Factory manager.\nSelection, evaluation & performance monitoring of Contractors working in factories including a system of penalties & incentives.\nIdentify training needs, plan and organize training programmes on EHS at different levels.\nPlan and conduct EHS assessment of the factory & take corrective actions promptly.\nIdentify near misses, unsafe acts & unsafe conditions and ensure corrective actions. Review & analyze UA/UC & follow up for compliance.\nIncident/Accident reporting and communication (escalation), investigation, analysis & recommendation of corrective & preventive actions.\nPeriodic reviewing of Emergency preparedness plan & carrying out mock drills. Coordination with internal & external partners on EHS topic.\nLiaison with local authorities for statutory EHS related compliances\nCo-ordinate with the Factory Heads, other factory EHS Officers & stakeholders for overall EHS implementation in the location.\nCo-ordinate with RC IN EHS, SI BU & OpCo EHS, including Health Management on specific EHS tasks assigned.\nConduct periodic site assessments and drive implementation Corrective Action and Preventive Action (CAPA) for areas of improvement.\nWhat do I need to qualify for this job?\n Experience:\n Overall, 14-22 years of successful industry experience in driving EHS System Implementation in an Electrical product manufacturing factory\nStrong knowledge of Factory related Legal & applicable statutory requirements.\nExperience in managing safety in complex shop floor operations will be an added advantage.\nEducation & Training:\n Degree / Diploma in Engineering (Electrical or related fields)\nAdvanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS)\nEvidenced training/expertise in the broader spectrum of EHS topics.\nExpert level knowledge of ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 management system and implementing/ managing management system elements.\nKnowledge of 14489 Audit Standards\nAdditional Qualification:\n Language Proficiency required - English, Hindi and Marathi\nExcellent Team Player and Key Stakeholder Management skills\nCoworking and Problem-solving Skills.
