Our customers use our tools to push the boundaries of technology and physics to deliver better products in the increasingly complex world of chip, board, and system design.\nPosition Overview\nThis Field Application Engineer role supports business growth within an assigned product area or account base through learning-driven customer engagement and the development of technical execution skills. You'll focus on assisting with the technical aspects of sales campaigns, supporting customer evaluations and deployments, and building foundational capabilities through close collaboration with sales, product, and support teams. Working with international customers based in the US, you'll develop the skills needed to support technical initiatives and customer success under the guidance of experienced team members, building relationships with customer stakeholders and contributing to meaningful technical outcomes.\nKey Responsibilities:\nBuild relationships with customer stakeholders at the individual contributor level under guidance.\nSupport technical discovery by gathering information on customer requirements, design flows, and challenges.\nDeliver technical presentations and demonstrations with mentorship and peer support.\nSupport the technical aspects of sales campaigns, including evaluations, pilot projects, and solution positioning.\nCollaborate with Account Technology Managers, Technical Account Managers, Account Managers, and Field Application Engineers to support the execution of engagement plans.\nAssist in executing technical benchmarks, evaluations, and pilot deployments.\nContribute to product adoption efforts through workflow support and routine tool configuration.\nDocument and share customer insights, including technical requirements, evaluation outcomes, and competitive observations.\nSupport customers during issue resolution by coordinating with Support Application Engineers when appropriate.\nParticipate in training programs to develop knowledge of Siemens EDA solutions, competitive technologies, and go-to-market strategies.\nShadow and learn from experienced team members to develop skills in customer engagement, discovery, and solution positioning.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.\n3+ years of relevant work experience.\nHands-on experience with verification methodologies such as UVM, assertion-based verification, and functional coverage.\nProficiency in verification technologies, including simulation, formal verification, and/or emulation and prototyping.\nStrong understanding of digital design flows and HDL languages (SystemVerilog, Verilog, and VHDL).\nScripting experience with Python, Shell, and/or Perl.\nStrong communication skills with the ability to clearly present technical concepts to peers and customers.\nAbility to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a learning environment.\nWillingness to learn customer business processes and develop an understanding of solution positioning.\nAbility to collaborate effectively within a team environment and contribute to shared objectives.\nWillingness and ability to travel internationally to meet and work with customers.\nWhy Us\nWe are Siemens:\nAt Siemens Software, flexibility is how we work-hybrid by default, built on trust and autonomy. The actual compensation offered is based on the successful candidate's job-related skills, experience, and relevant education/training.
