Participants will have the opportunity to create new products and applications using the latest technologies and applying industry best-practices to drive the growth of Siemens as a Full-Stack Engineer, Back-End Developer, Front-End Developer, Mobile Developer or Project Lead.\nWe are seeking qualified candidates for our Summer 2027 Smart Building Products Internship Program as a Fire Safety Software Engineering Intern. This role is based in Parsippany, NJ.\nYou’ll make an impact by:\nSupporting software development activities aligned with strategic business and product goals. \nAnalyzing and interpreting software requirements through detailed technical documentation. \nEstimating, planning, and managing time for assigned software development tasks. \nDesigning and executing test plans for software components to ensure quality and performance. \nPresenting project progress and results to technical stakeholders. \nSupporting software quality standards and contributing to globally deployed software solutions.\nWe’re looking for people who are resourceful - true problem solvers who challenge themselves to find the most effective and efficient solutions to complex challenges. Candidates must not graduate prior to September 2027. \nKnowledge of Python/C++/C#/HTML/SCSS/JavaScript/TypeScript or other relevant programming languages.\nLegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship. \nCandidates must be available to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the 10-week internship. \nEligible candidates must be located within 50 miles of Parsippany, NJ as this role does not provide housing or relocation support. \n Preferred Qualifications:Strong interpersonal skills, as well as excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms. \nExperience with software testing and quality assurance through coursework or prior internships\nFamiliarity with Agile development methodologies\nStrong problem-solving skills and attention to details\nAbility to clearly community technical concepts to diverse audiences\nAs part of the application, you will be asked to confirm your enrollment status. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
