THIS IS YOUR ROLE\"\nPosition: Firmware Developer\nLocation: Goa\nRole Overview:\nTechnical lead in all aspects of Embedded software architecture design.\nContributes to the development of strategic technology plans and project portfolio in own organization.\nTo apply and develop state-of-the-art research on Firmware Product-Lines.\nExpertise in designing high performance oriented scalable embedded architecture.\nDriving/taking lead for different Quality processes in product development to achieve required quality matrices like reviews for firmware artifacts (code and design reviews), code quality matrices, non-functional requirements such as performance and sizing, Root cause analysis techniques for problem solving.\nWe are seeking for a BE / ME in Electronics & Comm/ Electrical/CS, should have minimum 8-12 years experience of embedded software development, Experience in Protection / Sub-Station Automation Industry is preferred. This job is based out of Goa.\nProduct development\nDesign and implement Software for embedded devices and systems from requirements to production and commercial deployment.\nDevelopment of Linux device drivers for peripherals such as UART, I2C, SPI, USB, Ethernet\nBoard bring up, Customization and optimization of Linux kernel, Bootloader (Uboot) for embedded targets.\nDesign, develop, code, test, debug (gdb , coredump) and review system software\nAnalyze and enhance efficiency, stability and scalability of system resources.\nIntegrate and validate new product designs.\nSupport system/regression tests and optimize I/O performance.\nProvide production/ post-production support.\nPerform technical research, monitor current trends and changes in technology to assist in new product development.\nProfessional knowledge:\nSolid programming experience in C/ C++.\nStrong hands-on knowledge min 4 years on Embedded Linux kernel internals & device drivers and rich hands-on experience in kernel driver development.\nStrong knowledge in OS/Kernel concepts.\nHands on troubleshooting issues on run-time environment.\nGood Understanding of Memories, RAMs, storage devices, high speed devices like USB, Ethernet.\nExpertise in with software configuration management tools, defect tracking tools, and peer review.\nProficient in multi-threaded programming and middleware solution development on Linux.
