Working closely with Engineering, Field Service, and international stakeholders, you will ensure that technical information is accurate, consistent, up-to-date, and of the highest quality.\nYou will analyze existing data structures, ensure their quality and accuracy, identify opportunities for improvement, and actively drive the continuous enhancement of our technical data landscape.\nHow You'll Make an Impact\nMaintain, administer, and ensure the quality of technical data within the global documentation tool.\nAnalyze technical datasets with regard to completeness, consistency, accuracy, and overall data quality.\nDefine, monitor, and improve data quality standards.\nCoordinate technical content with Engineering, Field Service, and other relevant departments.\nTranslate technical requirements and documentation into structured data models.\nPlan, prioritize, and coordinate data maintenance and improvement activities.\nIdentify data gaps, inconsistencies, and optimization opportunities within the database and develop suitable corrective actions.\nPerform regular data validation and plausibility checks.\nSupport the further development of the tool by defining business requirements and recommending enhancements.\nCreate structured defect descriptions and issue reports for IT development teams.\n\nWhat You Bring\n\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering or equivalent.\n3 years professional experience in the power generation, energy, or gas turbine industry\nKnowledge of gas turbine technology and the associated service aspects; knowledge of generators and steam turbines is a plus.\nExperience working with technical databases, data management systems, or documentation management tools.\nStrong analytical mindset and a pronounced affinity for data quality and structured processes.\nExperience in analyzing, maintaining, and managing complex datasets.\nKnowledge of SQL, Oracle APEX, or comparable database and development tools is beneficial.\nExperience with Excel, Power BI, or similar analytics and reporting tools is desirable.\nExperience working in intercultural teams within a global environment.\nExcellent English communication skills, both written and spoken; German language skills are an advantage.\nHigh degree of initiative, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.\nA pragmatic working style combined with a passion for continuous improvement, digitalization, and process optimization.\n\nWho is Siemens Energy India?\nSiemens Energy India Limited (SEIL) has been a strategic partner in India for more than 100 years and is focused on being the most-valued energy technology company.
