We’re looking for a recent graduate in Power Systems to join our team as soon as possible. To be eligible, you’ll need to hold Australian or New Zealand permanent residency or citizenship.

What You'll Be Doing With Us
- Perform steady-state, transient, power quality, and small-signal studies across cutting-edge transmission systems, microgrids, and hybrid networks.
- Collaborate with project teams and act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them implement innovative Siemens technologies.
- Turn intricate technical analysis into clear, high-impact reports that drive real-world engineering solutions.
- Gain commercial exposure by contributing to technical scopes, cost estimates, and contract discussions.
- Help shape the future of sustainable power systems by providing expert technical insights to key partners.
About You
We know that talent comes in many forms, and we welcome applications from people with different backgrounds, experiences and perspectives. You might be a great fit if you bring:
- A degree in Electrical Engineering. Specialisation in Power Systems or Control Systems is critical.
- Proficient in Python programming.
- Confident with simulation tools like PSS®E, PSCAD, and PowerFactory.
- Ideally, familiar with grid connection engineering for the NEM, with a basic understanding of the NER (National Electricity Rules) and Australian grid standards.
- A strong communicator, able to clearly convey complex ideas both verbally and in writing.
- Strategically minded with strong business sense, capable of aligning technical expertise with broader business goals.
To be eligible for our graduate program, you’ll need to be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, or hold Australian permanent residency at the time of application.
