We understand that flexibility is sometimes needed, so occasional remote working can be accommodated where appropriate. Working hours are 8-hour days Monday to Thursday, with an early finish on Friday (8am-1pm).\nWe encourage regular collaboration on-site to help you connect, learn from industry leadersand gain hands-on experience, with some flexibility where appropriate.\nIn this role, you will:\nWork as part of a small team to develop microprocessor, digital and analogue circuits for our devices.\nTake circuit designs from initialconcept through to schematic capture, layoutand testing.\nDevelop test specifications and carry out module and system integration testing.\nCollaborate with international development teams across different Siemens businesses.\nWhat We’reLooking For\nWe focus on potential, curiosity, and your drive to learnrather thanpast experience.\nThis opportunity is open to undergraduate students looking to complete a one-year industrial placement as part of their degree.\nCurrently working towardsa degree inElectrical & Electronic Engineering, or a related subject.\nYou understandbasic electrical principles, including digital and analogue circuit design.\nYou enjoy working as part of a team and adapting your approach as ideas and designs develop.\nYou’recurious and enjoy working through technical problems to find practical solutions.\nYou can communicate your ideas clearly and feel comfortable presenting your thinking and results to others.\nSome familiarity with schematic capture tools and PCB layout would be beneficial butisn’tessential.\nOur Fair & Transparent Process: No CV Bias\nWe want everyone to have an equal chance to shine.
