Our EDA (Electronic Design Automation) division provides software and hardware verification solutions that help companies around the world deliver high-performance electronic products to market faster and more efficiently.\nPosition Overview\nWe are looking for a Hardware Verification Engineer to join our HAV team in Cairo, Egypt.\nMain Responsibilities:\n Develop and execute verification plans, including testbench architectures and test case development.\n Design and develop co-emulation-based and/or simulation-based verification environments.\n Work with existing complex testbenches targeting different platforms, including simulation and co-emulation.\n Integrate software and hardware DUTs and work with different programming languages within the verification environment.\n Implement and monitor code coverage and/or functional coverage metrics to assess verification completeness.\n Run and debug complete testbenches comprising embedded software and hardware components on Questa and/or Veloce platforms.\n Work closely with design and architecture teams to understand design specifications and requirements.\n Identify and debug issues within the design and verification environments.\n Collaborate with design teams to identify and address coverage gaps.\n Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance on verification best practices.\n Utilize verification tools and methodologies to achieve high-quality verification results.\n Document and report verification progress and coverage status to relevant stakeholders.\n Job Requirements:\n B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Communications Engineering, with experience in hardware design verification.\n Advanced knowledge of SystemVerilog for developing testbenches and writing assertions.\n Advanced knowledge of UVM (Universal Verification Methodology) for building reusable verification environments.\n Proficiency in code coverage and/or functional coverage techniques.\n Good knowledge of integrating commercial VIPs into UVM testbenches.\n Good knowledge of RTL development and Verilog.\n Good knowledge of digital circuits, digital design, digital systems, and computer architecture.\n Knowledge of C, C++, and object-oriented programming (OOP).\n Knowledge of scripting languages, such as Perl, Shell, and Tcl.\n Excellent command of written and spoken English.\n Ability to work independently and as part of a team.\n Excellent presentation and communication skills.\n Knowledge of programming using SystemC is an advantage.\n Why Join Us?\nWe are Siemens:\nAt Siemens Software, flexibility is how we work-hybrid by default, built on trust and autonomy.
