The successful candidate will contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of software products while ensuring compliance with medical device quality and regulatory requirements.This role requires strong technical expertise in modern software development technologies, a passion for quality, and the ability to collaborate across global cross-functional teams.\nKey Responsibilities\nParticipate in all phases of the software development lifecycle, including requirements analysis, design, implementation, testing, deployment, and maintenance. \nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, robust, and secure software applications and services.\nContribute to system and software architecture decisions and provide effort estimations for development activities.\nDevelop high-quality, maintainable, and testable code following engineering best practices.\nImplement and execute unit, integration, and automated tests as part of CI/CD pipelines. \nInvestigate, analyze, and resolve software defects and production issues\nCollaborate closely with Product Management, Verification, Quality, Regulatory, Clinical, and System Engineering teams.\nEnsure compliance with software development processes and applicable standards for regulated medical devices.\nDrive software quality initiatives and promote engineering excellence within the team.\nMentor junior engineers and actively share technical knowledge across the organization.\nParticipate in code reviews, design reviews, and continuous improvement activities.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.\n6+ years of professional software development experience.\nStrong proficiency in C#, .NET, and modern software development practices\nExperience designing and developing RESTful APIs and distributed applications.\nExperience with microservices, and container technologies.\nStrong understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and object-oriented design.\nExperience with Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing.\nStrong troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience developing software for regulated industries such as healthcare, medical devices, or life sciences.\nExperience with OAuth, OpenID Connect, and application security best practices.\nFamiliarity with healthcare interoperability standards such as DICOM, HL7, and FHIR.\nExperience with Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud platforms.\nExperience working in Agile/Scrum environments.\nExposure to automation frameworks and quality engineering practices.\nFoster a culture of quality, collaboration, and accountability.\nWho we are: We are a team of more than 72,000 highly dedicated Healthineers in more than 70 countries.
