Our managers will assess which position is the best fit for you, ensuring you get the most out of your experience.\nFirst Role\nIT Intern: User Engagement\nYour role will include:\nRunning interactive workshops that make learning engaging and practical and help colleagues build confidence in using technology.\nCreating clear, user-friendly guides and resources that make digital tools and processes easier to understand and use.\nOffering personalised support to colleagues, helping them get the most out of technology and overcome day-to-day challenges.\nGathering feedback and ideas from users to understand their needs and help shape improvements to IT solutions.\nDeveloping and delivering AI literacy training sessions, helping colleagues understand AI and use new tools confidently and effectively.\nWork with data to gather, organiseand manipulate information, using tools such as Excel to support day-to-day activities and projects.\nExplore opportunities to automate and improve processes using digital tools such as Power Automate, helping make routine tasks simpler and more efficient.\nRecent intern projects: a digital tools masterclass series and a cybersecurity initiative helping employees maintaincompliant and sustainable laptop and mobile practices.OR\nSecond Role\nIT Intern: Business Partnering\nYour role will include:\nCoordinating IT support and working with external partners to resolve live IT issues, helping colleagues get the support they need.\nListening to users to understand their challenges and identifyopportunities to improve or digitise everyday processes and ways of working.\nDeveloping automated solutions using SharePoint, Power Automate and Copilot Studio, helping teams simplify processes and work more effectively.\nSuggesting smart, secure technology solutions that respond to evolving trends while meeting Siemens Information Security standards.\nExploring opportunities to use AI to improve everyday processes, solve problems and make ways of working more efficient.\nSupporting the delivery of AI literacy training alongside the User Engagement team, helping colleagues build their understanding and confidence in using AI tools.\nRecent intern projects: an AI-powered knowledge assistant to help employees find information quickly, an automated calendar bringing together events from internal networks, an AI navigator showcasingSales use cases, and a beginner-friendly SiemensGPT masterclass.\nWhat We’reLooking For\nWe focus on potential, curiosity, and your drive to learnrather than past experience.\nThis opportunity is open to undergraduate students looking to complete a one-year industrial placement as part of their degree.\nCurrently working towardsadegree in Information Technology, Information Management with Business,Computer Science, AI, or a related field. \nEnjoy working in a people-focused role, and able to confidently communicate and present ideas with clarity while actively listening to others.\nPossess a logical mindset and a passion for self-learning and research, while being a fast learner who enjoys solving problems.\nDemonstrate a basic understanding of AIconcepts,tools and the M365 suite including the Power Platform.\nPossess strong multitasking abilities with the capability to manage multiple projects whilst maintainingattention to detail and quality. \nShow curiosity about emerging IT tools/AI technologies and their practical applications in business environments. \nBe confident working independently, taking ownership of tasks, and showing potential to drive and lead change. \nOur Fair & Transparent Process: No CV Bias\nWe want everyone to have an equal chance to shine.
