Who knows where our shared journey will take you?\nThe Logistics Manager is responsible for leading operations with a strong focus on kitting, shipping, customer delivery performance, operational efficiency, and inventory accuracy. This role drives continuous improvement, oversees daily KPI performance, and develops a high performing team that supports accurate, on time shipments to customers and internal stakeholders.\nThis leader will partner across Production, Planning, Quality, and Transportation to ensure kits are built correctly, shipped on time, and aligned with customer expectations.\nYou will make an impact by:\nEHS Compliance:\nEnsure all Siemens' safety standards and local regulations are adhered to.\nPromote a safe working environment by conducting regular safety inspections, training, and enforcing safety protocols.\nTeam Leadership and Development:\nManage the logistics organization, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement where employees feel valued and motivated to contribute to the team's success.\nEnsure there is clarity regrading roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations for all team members, and alignment with overall business goals.\nConduct regular performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for training and development.\nWarehouse Operations Management:\nOversee all day-to-day Logistics operations in your area, including receiving, put-away, inventory management, and order fulfillment.\nIdentify and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to track progress and drive operational excellence.\nEnsure the accurate and efficient handling of materials and products, maintaining high standards of safety and quality.\nRegularly review operational procedures to optimize space utilization, reduce waste, and improve efficiency.\nInternal Logistics and Material Handling:\nManage the internal flow of materials from your areas of responsibility to various production areas, including raw materials, internal fabrication, and assembly processes.\nCoordinate with production teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and components, minimizing downtime and production delays.\nTransportation and Shipment Coordination:\nOversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of outgoing shipments, including domestic and international transportation.\nManage relationships with carriers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners to ensure cost-effective and timely delivery of goods.\nEnsure compliance with all transportation regulations, including import/export requirements and customs documentation.\nYou’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Supply Chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field with 7 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment; 5 years in a leadership role.\nMinimum 7 years of experience in warehouse management, logistics, or a similar role within a manufacturing environment; 5 years in a leadership role.\nExperience with warehouse operations, kitting operations, material handling systems, and transportation logistics.\nProficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) software.\nExperience managing carrier relationships and performance.\nLegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience in manufacturing, automotive, or high volume distribution environments.\nExperience leading kitting teams or complex material preparation processes.\nStrong background in Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, or other continuous improvement frameworks.\nProject management experience with documented delivery of improvement projects.\nFamiliarity with APICS/CPIM/CLTD certifications or methodologies.\nStrong analytical, root cause, and problem solving skills.\nExperience working with Workday, SAP, Oracle, or similar ERP systems.\nAbout Siemens:\nWe are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
