Who knows where our shared journey will take you?\nTransform the everyday with us!\nIn this position you would work remotely from a home office.The job requires extensive travel and the employee must live near a major airport.\nYou’ll make an impact by:\nService and Application Engineer function:\n·Complete broad scope of product and systems support including install, commissioning, maintenance, and evaluation of customer equipment and systems.\n·Provide scheduled and emergency support remotely and onsite.\n·Provide all levels of user support.\n·May manage sub-contractors and monitor delivery.\n·Create Report and Status Updates of project status.\nSales Function:\n·Explore new opportunities while engaged directly with customers (remote or onsite).\n·Supports sales by identifying potential additional business and providing leads to sales engineer.\nRemote Support Engineer:\n·Delivers support services by using remote connections to customer systems.\n·Diagnoses, clarifies, and resolves technical problems.\n·Clarifies events, analyses traces and diagnostic information, provides information about findings to solve the issue and provides guidance for the next steps (site visit)\n·Use escalation strategy to assist customers.\nKnowledge /Skills / Capabilities:\n·Ability to learn and grow.\n·Strong communication skills.\n·Good natured - able to handle all manner of customer interactions.\n·Deep professional know-how and experience.\n·Solid professional judgment, critical thinking, and problem-solving competence. Improves existing processes and approaches.\nBasic Qualifications:\n·BS in Electrical or Electronic field\n·8+ years of experience, preferably already trained in Simatic, Sinumerik, Simodrive, Sinamics, Electrical Design, Troubleshooting, Electrical Wiring, Arc-Flash, NFPA70.\n·Knowledge of Siemens product experience in SINUMERIK and SIMODRIVE\n·8+ years’ experience working in product launch and process environment.\n·PLC, Control Systems, Automation, Lean\n·Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis - Must be a US Citizen\n·Proficiency in English both written and verbal\n·Travel: Willingness and ability to travel up to 75-95% of the time.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n·Knowledge of 5-axis machining technology preferred.
