This role ensures the best Value for the organization by negotiating Contracts, Vendor Relationship, Monitoring Market Trends, Continuous Improvement in Cost, Quality, Sustainability and Service Levels.\nKey Responsibilities-\nProcurement Strategy & Planning \nDevelop and Implement Procurement Strategies for Logistics services aligned with the global strategy and the Company’s Supply Chain Goals. \nConduct Spend analysis to Identify Cost Savings Opportunities and efficiency Improvements.\nScope & demand mapping in Collaboration with all internal stakeholders within the Organizations.\nSupplier Sourcing & Contract Management \nIdentify, evaluate and select LSPs for transportation and freight forwarding, in alignment with the strategy\nClosely align with the global and local commodity teams and stakeholders and ensure pooling of demand to negotiate the best freight rates and deliver value to the business. \nPrepare Long Terms and Short Terms negotiation plans and document them in the Negotiation Calendar.\nNegotiate Contracts, Service Level agreements and pricing terms to optimize cost and service performance.\nEnsure Compliance with Company Policies, sourcing and tender rules, Industry Regulations and International Trade Laws. \nSupplier Relationship & Performance\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with LSPs, in close alignment with the global commodity teams for cross-country suppliers. \nMonitor Supplier performance against KPI’s address services issues and drive corrective actions.\nConduct regular business reviews with Vendors to ensure service excellence, in collaboration with the global commodity teams and their global monthly or quarterly business review meetings (one face to the suppliers). \nMarket Intelligence and Risk Management:\nMonitor Global and regional Market Trends, Fuel Price Fluctuations, BAF and regulatory Changes.\nIdentify and Mitigate risks in Logistics operations and Supplier networks.\nDevelop Contingency plan for Supply Chain disruptions. \nEnsure No Sole Suppliers Strategy.\nCross Functional Colloboration\nWork Closely with all the Stakeholders within the Internal Business Units to define strategies.\nArrange Half yearly reviews together with Business Unit and Vendors together. \nCollaborate with Business Unit for Budget Planning and Cost Tracking.\nSustainability\nDrive Sustainability Initiatives along with Business Units to achieve Organizational Emission reductions Targets. \nEnsure Carbon Web Assessments are completed for all the Major Vendors. \nEnsure External Sustainable Audits are done for Key vendors to ensure Compliance.\nDigitalization \nConduct Tenders, eBidding & auctions through Siemens Sourcing tools. \nDrive digitalization projects to bring visibility, day quality and adherence to Siemens’ SOPs by LSPs.\nQualifications and Skills\nEducation:\nGraduate in any stream. Graduation/Post-Graduation/Certification in Supply Chain shall be preferred.
