Who knows where our shared journey will take you.\n Transform the every day with us!\n Siemens Industry is looking for an Manufacturing Engineer 2nd Shift for our Fort Worth, TX factory located in the heart of the DFW Metroplex; hours will be 4:30pm - 12:30am. Here you will work in a modern, dynamic factory environment. Our growing facility has over 350 employees that produce high-quality, engineered and make-to-order power distribution equipment. The industrial engineer's responsibilities include analyzing operations, designing workflows and production processes, reducing inefficiency, and ensuring that final products meet the established quality standards. This includes documentation and performance measurement of manufacturing processes, new product introduction, improvements to production lines, capital expenditures, cost savings measures and fixture design.\n You will make an impact:\n Develop and maintain detailed equipment lists for manufacturing and production operations.\nConduct cost analyses for equipment, labor, and materials to support budgeting and investment decisions.\nPrepare accurate production cost estimates for quoting, planning, and financial forecasting.\nCollaborate with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams to ensure alignment on cost and equipment planning.\nIdentify and implement process improvements to enhance productivity and reduce waste.\nSupport layout planning, time studies, and workflow analysis to improve operational efficiency.\nApply industrial engineering methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, and simulation modeling.\nMaintain documentation for cost models, equipment specifications, and process changes.\n You will win us over by having the following qualifications:\n Basic Qualifications:\n Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering ,Mechanical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.\nMinimum of 4 years of experience in industrial engineering or manufacturing operations.\nStrong proficiency in cost modeling, data analysis, and production planning.\nSolid understanding of manufacturing equipment and systems.\nExperience with ERP systems and engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Excel, simulation tools).\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. \n Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.\n Preferred Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:\nLean Six Sigma certification.\nExperience in aerospace, automotive, or other complex manufacturing environments.\nFamiliarity with SAP or similar ERP platforms.\nAdvanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and cost modeling.\nAbout Siemens We are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
