Our facility is growing and has employees that will produce high-quality, engineered and made-to-order switchboards. The Systems design Engineer is responsible for preparing recommendations for the design and development of new products or changes in existing products.\n You will make an impact by:\n Assists in the planning of detailed product development objectives.\n Participates in the preparation of sketches, design layouts, and other specifications.\n Participating in the review of results to determine that such products perform in the intended manner\n Prepares prototypes for testing and provides technical assistance on design feasibility.\n Assists in standardizing materials, components and assemblies to minimize the items procured and manufactured.\n Learns complex product engineering while assisting in the development of new and improved products.\n You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:\n Basic Qualifications:\n Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.\n 1 year experience working as a Product Development or Design Engineer or recent college graduate.\n Experience with Pro-E/Creo\n Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.\n Preferred Qualifications:\n Power Panel/Switchboard/Switchgear (or similar products application or design experience)\n Electrical schematics understanding\n About Siemens:\n We are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
