The ideal candidate for this position will be able to work part-time during the school year. If you are looking for an opportunity to develop your logistics and process management skills, learn from an industry-leading company, and enhance your academic learning, then this may be the position for you!\nThis function has been established to support & develop logistics and dispatch-related process improvement initiatives aiming at achieving lean and efficient material flows, smart warehouse solutions, and sustainable organizational processes which will lead to a competitive advantage for Siemens Electrical Products Factory.\nWhat are my responsibilities?\nSupporting goods receipt activities and verifying incoming materials against delivery documents.\nPreparing packing lists and supporting export/dispatch documentation processes.\nAnalyze and document process flows to identify optimization opportunities.\nPerform loss/waste analysis and propose improvement actions.\nParticipate in on-site studies such as 5S audits, Gemba walks, and process observations.\nPrinting and organizing delivery notes and export-related documents created in SAP.\nCoordinating with Logistics, Planning, Production, Purchasing, Customs, and Export Operations teams to ensure smooth material flow.\n________________________________________\nWhat do I need to qualify for this job?\n3rd-4th year university student in Engineering or a similar field.\nAble to work 2,5 -3 days/week in Gebze office.\nBasic knowledge of LEAN, logistics processes, and material handling systems.\nStrong analytical mindset and ability to observe and document logistics processes.\nAbility to work effectively on multiple concurrent projects in a dynamic and results-oriented setting.\nStrong writing, documentation, and speaking skills.\nAbility to learn new skills and assume new responsibilities.\nAbility to work cooperatively in a team environment.\nKnowledge of MS Office.\nGood command of written and spoken English.\n________________________________________\nPreferred additional qualifications:\nWillingness to take an active role in automation projects.\nBasic knowledge of SQL, Power BI or other data analysis tools.\nKnowledge of logistics KPIs, warehouse operations, and dispatch processes.\nInterest in continuous improvement (Kaizen, 5S, lean logistics).\nWhat We Offer?\n Speaking up Culture\n Respectful Workplace\n Being part of a global work environment\n Learning & Development opportunities for both personal and professional growth\n Find more benefits here\n Individual benefits are adapted to meet local legal regulations, the requirements of different job profiles, locations, and individual preferences.\nAt Siemens we are always challenging ourselves to build a better future.
