This is a highly visible role within the Siemens organization, directly contributing to the success of the One Software Engineering System (OSES) platform. Your work will enable teams to deliver faster, more reliably, and with greater efficiency, making a tangible impact on how we build and scale software.\nYou will architect, orchestrate, maintain, and improve highly available runtime clusters, create developer-centric GitOps tooling, and optimize system-to-system networking configuration, balancing ease-of-use and enterprise-grade security controls.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable applications and systems integrations using AWS and Kubernetes.\nArchitect and implement modern DevOps best practices for enterprise-scale systems.\nSupport a cross-functional development team building data pipelines and ETL processes for high-performance data workflows.\nConfigure and integrate real-time monitoring, telemetry, and design self-healing infrastructure to support business and engineering needs.\nBuild enterprise architecture and audit it against organizational standards for performance, security, and compliance.\nAdvocate for and implement modern DevOps practices, including developer-friendly CI/CD pipelines, zero-downtime deployments, and end-to-end testing.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve developer productivity systems and streamline workflows.\nApply Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software iteratively.\nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of professional experience designing and maintaining cloud-based architecture using AWS, Kubernetes, or similar cloud-based technologies\nStrong proficiency in building highly resilient, highly available, secure systems\nProven experience designing and developing Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).\nHands-on experience with cloud-based networking.\nExperience configuring and monitoring security and observability tooling, such as Wiz and Datadog\nDeep understanding of Git workflows, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps principles.\nSolid grasp of Agile development practices and highly autonomous team environments.\nPreferred Skills\nExperience with developer productivity tools and agentic automation.\nKnowledge of Airbyte or similar ETL frameworks.\nA background in software or data engineering.\nFamiliarity with SOC 2, ISO/IEC 27001 or similar security frameworks.\nPassion for cross-functional production collaboration and continuous improvement.\nWhat We Value\nA growth mindset and willingness to learn new technologies.\nProduct- and client-value mindset\nStrong communication skills and ability to work across teams.\nStrong domain ownership and developer enablement\nYou’ll Benefit From\nSiemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to our employees.
