If this describes you, we have an opportunity for you to join our strategic procurement team supporting the Electrical Products business.\nProject Procurement Management Professional position for Electrical Product Business in USA/Canada/Mexico unit will support the development and implementation of a Procurement Strategy for the area of responsibility. This role requires strong project management and manufacturing knowledge to mitigate supply risks, develop alternate sources, strengthen supplier capacity, and support the growth of our manufacturing operations.\nYou will make an impact with the following responsibilities:\n Lead the successful and on-time execution of strategic procurement projects, including supplier scouting and qualification, RFQ execution, tooling development, capacity planning, cost transparency and production ramp-up. In order to mitigate supply chain risks, strengthen supply continuity, and support the growth and capacity needs of our manufacturing plants.\n Support Commodity Managers and Location Procurement Managers in the development and execution of commodity, alternate sourcing, and plant procurement strategies, ensuring alignment between project requirements, supplier capabilities, and business needs.\n Partner with cross-functional teams to align sourcing and project execution strategies with overall business objectives and operational priorities.\n Lead supplier development and industrialization activities in collaboration with Operations, Supplier Quality Management, and cross functional team.\n Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance sourcing and project execution processes, reduce cycle times, improve efficiency, and drive cost savings.\n Participate in the PLM process, integrating supplier capabilities, manufacturing expertise, supply market intelligence, and procurement requirements into product and sourcing decisions.\n You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\n Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.\n 3 plus years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, supply chain management or operations.\n Must be open to 15-20 % 1to North American Operational sites and Supplier’s Facilities mainly in North America.\n Must be eligible to work in the US with no sponsorship now or in the future. \n Preferred Qualifications:\n An engineering degree is not mandatory, but advantageous\n Manufacturing and commodity knowledge, with experience sourcing components produced through fabrication, stamping, casting, and extrusion. Familiarity with critical materials and commodities such as steel, aluminum, and copper, including raw copper, castings, and extrusions.\n The ideal candidate should have strong data management and analytical skills, with hands-on experience using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, dashboards, and advanced Excel to analyze and visualize data effectively.\n Having a Growth mindset, embrace challenges and show persistence in overcoming obstacles.\n Strong problem-solving skills, extreme ownership, high level of self-motivation and personal efficiency.\n Collaboration skills to facilitate cross-functional meetings with various departments such as Product Development, Finance and Operations to align objective, timelines and deliverables.\n Strong project management and organizational skills. \n Strong facilitation and collaboration skills; Ability to drive to consensus.\n Role model for Siemens Values; Operates with a high degree of integrity. \n Highly motivated, self-starter that can work autonomously and independently take initiative.\n Ability to navigate ambiguous situations and bring clarity to problem solving. \n Proven experience with discretion in handling highly sensitive issues. \n Excellent written and verbal communication skills\n Qualified Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States.
