Then it seems like you’d make a great addition to our vibrant international team.\nWe are looking for a Product Owner\nYou’ll make a difference by:\nRole Objective:\nOwn and manage the product backlog for assigned KAVACH modules and enable efficient software delivery by acting as the primary interface between Software Requirements Engineering, Architecture, Development, Testing, and Program Management teams.\nThe role is predominantly internal-facing and focused on backlog management, delivery enablement, dependency management, and engineering alignment rather than customer-facing product/ marketing activities.\n Required Competencies:\n(Essential) Experience working with software-intensive products and distributed engineering teams. (multi-team set up).\n(Essential) Software Development Lifecycle (at least 3-4 full life cycle experience).\n(Essential) Working in a fast paced environment & navigating through ambiguity to bring clarity for product development teams.\n(Essential) Agile / SAFe ways of working.\n(preferred) Railway domain experience is preferred, particularly in Signaling, Interlocking, TCAS/KAVACH, ETCS, ATP, Train Control, or related railway systems.\n (preferred) Experience in safety-critical or highly regulated industries.\n(preferred) Knowledge of Systems Engineering and Requirements Management practices.\nRequirements Analysis and backlog creation along with Prioritization.\nProduct Backlog Management.\nDependency and Risk Management along with Mitigation.\nStakeholder Alignment & Cross-Functional Collaboration.\nSystems Thinking.\nAI proficiency in day to day working as a PO.\nStrong Communication and Coordination Skills.\nPreferred Domains - Mobility, Automotive, Railway, Avionics\nKey Responsibilities:\nOwn and maintain the product backlog for KAVACH software modules.\nCreate, refine, prioritize, and manage Features, Enablers, User Stories, and defect backlogs.\n Ensure backlog items are sufficiently detailed, estimated, and implementation-ready.\nWork closely with Software Requirements Engineers, Architects, Developers, and Test Engineers to clarify scope and support delivery execution.\nSupport PI Planning, Sprint Planning, backlog refinement, release planning, and milestone planning activities.\nManage cross-team dependencies, risks, and delivery impediments.\nEnsure traceability between requirements, backlog items, implementation, and verification activities.\nMonitor feature progress and support timely delivery against program commitments.\n Support impact assessment and prioritization of requirement changes.\nContribute to continuous improvement of Agile and Product Ownership practices.\nExpected Qualifications:\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related discipline\nMinimum 10 years of \"relevant experience\" in Product Ownership, Product Management, Requirements Management.\n SAFe POPM, CSPO, or equivalent Agile certification.\nExperience with Jira, Polarion, Azure DevOps, DOORS, or similar engineering lifecycle tools..\nYour success is grounded in:\n10+ years of experience is required.\nGreat Communication skills.\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work independently in a global and multicultural environment.\nCommitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.\nJoin us and be yourself!\nWe value your unique identity and perspective and are fully committed to providing equitable opportunities and building a workplace that reflects the diversity of society.
