This position serves as the bridge between materials management, warehouse operations, order management, quality, and production teams to maintain workflow continuity, inventory accuracy, and on-time delivery performance.\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a manufacturing professional with strong planning, materials, and analytical experience who is looking to expand their impact and grow into future leadership opportunities.\nWhat Your Day-to-Day will Look Like:\nRelease, monitor, and close work orders to support production schedules.\nCoordinate material availability and proactively address shortages that could impact production.\nPartner with production teams to identify schedule gaps and maintain schedule adherence.\nRun daily material and work order reports; escalate critical issues as needed.\nCollaborate with Order Management to support on-time material delivery.\nSupport inventory accuracy through cycle counts, material reconciliation, and analysis.\nUtilize SAP and ERP/MRP systems to execute production and material transactions.\nDevelop and maintain Excel-based reporting, dashboards, and production analytics.\nResolve production, inventory planning, and forecasting issues independently.\nDrive process improvements and support cross-functional initiatives.\nInfluence stakeholders and drive results without direct authority.\nTo Thrive in this Role, you have:\n3+ years of experience in production control, production planning, supply chain, materials management, or a related manufacturing function.\nBachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related field.\nExperience managing work orders in a manufacturing environment.\nStrong SAP experience preferred; experience with other ERP/MRP systems will also be considered.\nAdvanced Microsoft Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, reporting, and data analysis.\nExperience with inventory analysis, cycle counts, material reconciliation, and inventory accuracy.\nStrong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.\nDemonstrated ability to influence across functions and organizational levels.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience in rail, automotive, aerospace, defense, industrial equipment, machinery, electronics manufacturing, or other large-scale assembly environments.\nExperience leading projects or process improvement initiatives without formal authority.\nDemonstrated leadership potential and interest in future team leadership opportunities.\nWhy Siemens Mobility?\nSupport one of Siemens Mobility's largest manufacturing operations in North America.\nGain exposure across production planning, materials management, warehouse operations, manufacturing execution, and order management.\nWork closely with operational leaders and key stakeholders.\nMake a direct impact on production schedules and vehicle delivery performance.\nBuild the experience and visibility needed for future leadership growth.\nWork Authorization\nApplicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without needing current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.\nBenefits\nSiemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits to employees.
