With more than 20 years of experience, Siemens GBS taps into its understanding of how organizations and businesses work to seamlessly integrate, digitalize and optimize business processes with a portfolio that covers end-to-end business needs.\nYou’ll make a difference by\nCabinet Integration & Assembly\nPerform mechanical and electrical integration of railway signalling cabinets, including IXL, AUX, Axle Counter, ATS, ATP, RSC, WRU and associated systems.\nInstall and mount modules, relays, terminal blocks, power supplies, communication equipment, and accessories as per approved drawings.\nCarry out internal wiring, cable dressing, ferruling, identification, and termination activities.\nEnsure cabinet assembly complies with approved BOM, layout drawings, and work instructions.\nVerify material availability and report shortages or discrepancies.\nTesting & Verification\nConduct continuity, insulation resistance, polarity, and functional testing of wiring.\nPerform module-level and cabinet-level testing as per approved test procedures.\nExecute hardware and software integration tests for signalling systems.\nDiagnose and rectify wiring, assembly, and interface-related issues.\nSupport troubleshooting during production and project execution phases.\nFactory Acceptance Testing (FAT)\nPrepare cabinets for Internal FAT and Customer FAT.\nExecute FAT activities in accordance with project specifications and quality requirements.\nDemonstrate system functionality to customers, inspectors, and certification agencies.\nAddress observations raised during FAT and implement corrective actions.\nPrepare FAT reports, test records, and closure documentation.\nQuality & Documentation\n·Follow quality procedures, work instructions, and EHS requirements.\n·Maintain inspection and test records accurately.\n·Ensure compliance with RDSO, IRS, CENELEC, SIL, and customer-specific standards where applicable.\n·Support internal and external audits.\n·Prepare and update checklists, test formats, and production records.\nCustomer & Project Support\n·Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Production, and Project teams.\n·Provide technical support during customer visits, inspections, and audits.\n·Support site teams by resolving technical queries related to integrated cabinets.\n·Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.\nRequired Qualifications\nDiploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical & Electronics / Electronics & Communication,\n2-5 years of experience in Railway Signalling Manufacturing, Integration, Testing, or FAT activities.\nYour success is grounded in:\nEssential Skills & Experience\nHands-on experience in Railway Signalling Systems.\nExperience in EI (Electronic Interlocking) cabinet integration and testing.\nFamiliarity with ACM, Axle Counter, L4G, Metro Signalling, and related systems.\nAbility to read and interpret:\noCircuit diagrams\noWiring schematics\noCable schedules\noLayout drawings\noBill of Materials (BOM)\nKnowledge of testing instruments such as:\noMultimeter\noInsulation Tester (Megger)\noPower Supply Units\noCommunication Test Equipments\n·Experience in Internal FAT and Customer FAT.\n·Understanding of quality documentation and inspection processes.\n·Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\nPreferred Experience\n·Experience with RDSO-approved railway signalling products.\n·Exposure to Metro, Mainline, and Export Railway Projects.\n·Knowledge of SAP, ISO, IRIS and production documentation systems.\n·Experience supporting customer inspections, RITES inspections, and RDSO audits.\nKey Competencies\n·Technical troubleshooting\n·Attention to detail\n·Quality focus\n·Teamwork and collaboration\n·Customer orientation\n·Safety awareness\n·Communication and reporting skills\n·Time management and project coordination\nJoin us and be yourself!\nWe value your unique identity and perspective and are fully committed to providing equitable opportunities and building a workplace that reflects the diversity of society.
