Who knows where our shared journey will take you?\nTransform the everyday with us!\nAs a Production Supervisor within Electrical Products (EP), you’ll lead manufacturing operations that produce the electrical equipment customers depend on to distribute power safely and reliably. You’ll guide production teams, optimize people and material resources, and create a culture where safety, quality, delivery, and continuous improvement are part of every decision. Your leadership will help maintain zero-defect expectations, resolve production constraints, and ensure the team meets established standards while developing the next generation of manufacturing talent. This role is based at our Grand Prairie, Texas manufacturing facility and requires an on-site presence.\nShift: 1st - 5:30am - 3:00 pm (Rotating Weekends, and Overtime)\nYou will make an impact by:\nImproving safety across production lines by implementing effective Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) practices, addressing hazards, and reinforcing a workplace culture focused on preventing incidents.\nEnsuring adherence to production schedules by prioritizing work, assigning personnel, balancing resources, and resolving line constraints to meet delivery commitments.\nSupervising, coaching, and developing production employees by setting clear expectations, monitoring performance, conducting employee review meetings, and coordinating required training.\nMaintaining product quality by interpreting engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications, identifying defects, and taking corrective action to support consistent, zero-defect production.\nCoordinating with purchasing, production planning, warehouse, and support teams to maintain material availability, minimize interruptions, and protect schedule attainment.\nLeading daily production activities through accurate shift reporting, performance tracking, and timely escalation of safety, quality, staffing, and delivery risks.\nMaintaining productive labor relations by applying the collective bargaining agreement consistently and addressing employee matters with fairness, professionalism, and sound judgment.\nYou’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\n2 or more years of successful experience in assembly, manufacturing, production operations, or a related field.\nHigh school diploma or equivalent.\nMechanical proficiency and hands-on experience using hand tools in a manufacturing or industrial environment.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.\nStrong organizational, communication, leadership, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.\nAbility to interpret production requirements, prioritize work, and coordinate personnel in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nLegally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, business, operations, or a related field; an equivalent combination of education and directly related work experience will also be considered.\nPrevious experience supervising production, assembly, manufacturing, or operations employees.\nExperience applying Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies.\nBackground working in a unionized manufacturing environment and applying a collective bargaining agreement.\nProject management experience involving production improvements, process changes, or operational initiatives.\nAbility to interpret engineering drawings, electrical schematics, and manufacturing documentation.\nAbout Siemens:\nWe are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
