What part will you play?\nYou'll be responsible for supervising end-to-end Busduct Assembly activities and ensuring safe, high-quality, and timely production as per the approved production plan.\nYou'll be responsible for overseeing the production process, preparing shift-wise production schedules, and ensuring Plan vs. Actual production targets are achieved.\nYou'll be responsible for workstation planning and effective allocation of manpower and resources in line with the production plan.\nYou'll set daily, weekly, and monthly production objectives and effectively communicate targets and priorities to the production team.\nYou'll ensure that all Busduct products and assemblies are manufactured in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, SOPs, and Bills of Material (BOM).\nYou'll ensure adherence to defined manufacturing and assembly processes and identify deviations for timely corrective action.\nYou'll monitor the condition and availability of tools, fixtures, jigs, and equipment used for assembly and coordinating timely maintenance, repair, or replacement with respective functions.\nYou'll be responsible for monitoring manpower utilization, productivity, loss time, and production efficiency and taking necessary actions for improvement.\nYou'll monitor production data and prepare Manufacturing MIS, including Plan vs. Actual, productivity, loss time, quality performance, and other key manufacturing KPIs.\nYou'll collaborate with Production Planning, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Stores, and other functions to resolve production constraints and ensure smooth workflow.\nYou'll monitor manufacturing NCRs/NCCs, conduct root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.\nYou'll drive continuous improvement initiatives and implement Lean Manufacturing concepts to reduce waste, improve productivity, and optimize manufacturing processes.\nYou'll identify training and competency development requirements for Production Executives and Operators and ensure regular training and upskilling.\nYou'll maintain discipline, housekeeping, 5S, and workplace organization within the assembly area.\nYou'll ensure strict compliance with EHS requirements and promote a Zero Harm culture across all assembly activities.\nYou'll prepare and present production performance reports, key issues, risks, and improvement actions to Production Management.\nWe don't need superheroes, just super minds\nYou are a Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineer (B.E. / B. Tech / Diploma).\nYou've 3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing, Production, or Assembly Supervision.\nExperience in Busduct, Switchgear, Electrical Equipment, or similar industrial manufacturing will be an advantage.\nYou have hands-on experience working with SAP and good working knowledge of MS Office, particularly MS Excel.\nYou have a good understanding of manufacturing processes, production planning, assembly operations, quality systems, and productivity improvement.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement tools will be an advantage.\nYou have strong written and verbal communication skills.\nTo excel in this role, a Busduct Assembly Supervisor needs a blend of technical, manufacturing, and leadership skills: Manufacturing & Technical Acumen:\nStrong understanding of manufacturing and assembly processes.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, work instructions, SOPs, and Bills of Material.\nKnowledge of production planning, workstation balancing, manpower allocation, and productivity management.\nUnderstanding of quality requirements, manufacturing NCRs/NCCs, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.\nKnowledge of tools, fixtures, jigs, and assembly equipment.\nOperational & Continuous Improvement Skills:\nAbility to monitor Plan vs. Actual production performance and take timely corrective actions.\nStrong understanding of productivity, loss time, capacity utilization, and manufacturing KPIs.\nKnowledge of Lean Manufacturing concepts, 5S, Kaizen, and waste reduction techniques.\nAbility to analyze production data and prepare Manufacturing MIS and performance reports.\nLeadership & Interpersonal Skills:\nStrong team supervision and workforce management capabilities.\nAbility to set clear objectives and drive accountability within the production team.\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills.\nExcellent coordination with cross-functional teams.\nAbility to identify training needs and develop team competencies.\nStrong ownership, discipline, and results orientation.\nCommitment to quality, continuous improvement, and Zero Harm culture.\nSiemens Energy India Limited (SEIL) has been a strategic partner in India for more than 100\nyears and is focused on being the most-valued energy technology company.
