We are looking for an engaged and experienced Project Planner who will work closely with Project Managers and multidisciplinary project teams to turn project scope and contractual requirements into clear, realistic and reliable schedules.\nIn this role, you will be a trusted advisor to the project team and provide the insight needed to manage time, interfaces and progress. You will establish and maintain integrated project schedules, analyse performance and highlight risks, delays and opportunities early enough for the team to take action.\nKey Areas of Responsibility\n• Develop, baseline, maintain and continuously improve integrated project schedules covering the full project scope and lifecycle.Translate contractual requirements, milestones and deliverables into robust, logic-driven schedules with a clear work breakdown structure.\nCoordinate planning inputs and schedule interfaces across engineering, procurement, installation, testing, commissioning and other project functions.\nMonitor actual progress against approved baselines, analyse variances and trends, and provide reliable forecasts.\nPerform critical path, float, milestone and scenario analyses and identify schedule risks, delays and opportunities.\nRecommend mitigation, recovery and acceleration measures and follow up agreed actions with the project team.\nPrepare clear schedule reports and visualisations, including milestone trends, S-curves, look-ahead plans, progress reports and management summaries.\nWork closely with project management, cost control and document management to ensure consistent and reliable project information.\nSupport resource and cost-loaded planning, earned value analysis and schedule-related input to change and claims management when required.\nPromote structured planning practices and support project teams in using planning tools, methods and processes effectively.\nEducation, Skills and Qualifications\nYour Background\nA university degree in engineering, project management or another relevant field. Extensive relevant project experience may compensate for formal education.\nAt least three years of hands-on experience in project planning, schedule development and progress control in complex projects.\nStrong practical experience with Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project, together with advanced Excel skills.\nExperience in building work breakdown structures, logic networks, baselines and integrated schedules, preferably with interfaces to systems such as SAP.\nGood knowledge of critical path analysis, progress measurement, forecasting, schedule reporting and schedule risk management.\nExperience from railway, infrastructure, engineering, construction or another project-driven industry is an advantage.\nExperience with contractual schedules, earned value management or schedule support for changes and claims is beneficial.\nFluent English, both written and spoken.\nWho You Are\nStructured and analytical, with a strong eye for detail and the ability to see the bigger project picture.\nProactive and solution-oriented, with the confidence to challenge assumptions and raise concerns early.\nA clear communicator who can turn complex schedule data into practical advice and focused priorities.\nComfortable coordinating inputs, following up commitments and building constructive relationships across functions and cultures.\nAble to work independently, manage several priorities and deliver reliable information to agreed deadlines.\nMotivated by teamwork, continuous improvement and helping projects succeed.\nWilling to travel occasionally when required.\nThis is an opportunity to take on a visible and influential role in international mobility projects, work with highly skilled colleagues and further develop your expertise in project planning and project controls.
