We're looking for a Project Procurement Manager to lead procurement activities across key commodities supporting transmission and distribution projects, site installation, and commissioning services.\nThis is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of category strategy, influence key business decisions, and work closely with suppliers and stakeholders across a growing business.\nResponsibilities\nOwn and develop procurement strategies for key strategic commodities across the EA business.\nBuild and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and strategic suppliers.\nLead Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) activities, including regular supplier reviews and performance management.\nManage sourcing activities from RFQ through to contract award, ensuring best value and compliance with procurement processes.\nSupport tendering and project teams with timely, competitive commercial proposals.\nNegotiate pricing, contracts, rebates and commercial terms to deliver cost savings and maximise value.\nIdentify and mitigate supply chain risks while ensuring business continuity plans are in place.\nDevelop and implement category plans that support cost reduction, sustainability, digitisation and operational excellence objectives.\nAnalyse market trends and provide commercial insights to stakeholders and senior leadership.\nDrive process improvements and support the adoption of digital procurement tools and SAP functionality.\nProduce key procurement documentation including procurement plans, bid evaluations and supplier recommendations.\nEnsure suppliers support Siemens sustainability and compliance requirements.\nCollaborate with engineering, HSE, quality and project teams to support successful project execution. \nRequirements\nSignificant experience in a strategic procurement, category management, or supply chain role, with a proven track record of strategic sourcing and delivering commercial value.\nStrong supplier relationship management, stakeholder management, communication, and negotiation skills.\nExperience managing high-value procurement activities, supplier contracts, and commercial terms and conditions.\nStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, manage risk, and support business decision-making.\nSound understanding of procurement processes, supply chain best practices, and risk management principles.\nHighly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and drive continuous improvement.\nProficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.\nDesirable\nExperience within the electrical, utilities, energy, infrastructure, manufacturing or engineering sectors.\nKnowledge of transmission and distribution products and services.\nInstallation, commissioning or wider engineering project experience.\nContract management expertise.\nCIPS qualification, or willingness to work towards CIPS/MCIPS.\nExperience with Power BI, digitalisation initiatives or procurement systems.\nKnowledge of civil works procurement.\nWhat can we offer?\nPerformance-Based Bonus: Enjoy an annual bonus linked to the company's performance\nFlexible Working Hours: Achieve a healthy work-life balance with our flexible working arrangements\nPension Plan: Secure your future with our generous pension scheme, with employer contributions up to 10%.\n Time Off: Recharge and rejuvenate with 26 days of annual leave (plus bank holidays), and the option to buy or sell an additional 5 days!\nWe are fully committed to providing equal opportunities and building an inclusive workplace where a broad range of backgrounds and perspectives thrive.
