The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality of our manufacturing processes, products, and systems. This individual will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality control procedures, conducting inspections, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement in our manufacturing operations.\nYou’ll make an impact by:\nDeveloping and implementing quality control plans to ensure adherence to product specifications and industry standards.\nConducting regular inspections and audits of manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement and compliance issues.\nCollaborating with design and production teams to integrate quality control measures into the manufacturing process.\nAnalyzing data and trends to identify root causes of defects and implement corrective and preventive actions.\nPerforming risk assessments on manufacturing processes and work towards mitigating potential quality issues.\nOverseeing the production related nonconformities.\nParticipating in the development and execution of quality plans for new products and processes.\nProviding technical expertise and support to manufacturing teams to resolve quality-related issues.\nStaying current with industry trends and advancements to continuously improve quality systems.\nRepresenting Siemens in a customer-facing role, interacting directly with our customers.\nYou will win us over by having the following qualifications:\nBasic Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field required; equivalent combinations of an Associate’s degree and relevant work experience will also be considered\n2+ years’ experience working as a Quality Engineer in a Manufacturing environment\nStrong understanding of quality control principles and practices\nExperience with statistical analysis and quality management tools\nKnowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to manufacturing\nExcellent problem-solving and analytical skills\nEffective communication and interpersonal skills\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment\nDetail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement\nPreferred Skills:\nCertification in Quality Engineering (CQE) \nSix Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification\nKnowledge of the IMS standard (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001) and Internal auditor certification\nFamiliarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, assembly, etc.\nKnowledge of measurement and testing equipment.\nSAP experience\nFamiliarity with UL 891 and 857\nAbout Siemens:\nWe are a global technology company focused on industry, infrastructure, transport, and healthcare.
