As part of our Rail Infrastructure business, you’lljoin a team that is transforminghow people and goods move, making rail travel safer, smarter, greener, and more efficient.\nWe are hiring a Receptionist & Administrator to join our Rail Infrastructure business in Lanternoffice, London working on-site five days a week, and provide administrative support to the Office Manager and wider business.\nAs the first point of contact for visitors, you will help create a welcoming and professional environment. Your responsibilities will include greeting visitors, responding to emails and company enquiries, coordinating meeting room bookings, and supporting day-to-day reception and administrative activities.\nYou’llmake a difference by\nWelcoming on site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate staff members and issues swipe cards when required\nManaging and maintaining meeting room bookings\nOrdering, receiving, and maintaining canteen/ office stationery stocks\nReceiving, sorting and routing mail to appropriate staff and arranging courier items when required\nCoordinating any Health and Safety bulletins, visits, and briefings\nRaising requisitions and purchase orders using the company procurement systems framework orders need monitoring to ensure that costs are within budget; recognize time to increase/decrease amounts\nWhat you’llneed to succeed\nMethodical and organised with excellent communication skills\nMust be customer service focused and have experience of dealing with clients\nComputer literate and proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and web-based sites\nPro-active and able to work with minimal supervision\nAccurate and attentive to detail with excellent timekeeping\nExperience of working in a busy dynamic environment\nKnowledge of rail industry would be advantageous\nYou’ll benefitfrom\nAt Siemens, we believe that work should work for you.
