We're looking for a Senior AI Software Engineer to play a leading role, bringing deep skills in cutting-edge AI to help us invent and deliver the next generation of intelligent capabilities.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead cutting-edge research and development of state-of-the-art AI models for Design and Manufacturing challenges within the Teamcenter Bill of Materials portfolio\nDesign, prototype, and build novel model architectures that push the boundaries of what is possible for our products\nArchitect and implement Generative AI agents that solve real-world enterprise engineering and manufacturing workflows\nBuild robust, automated training pipelines that enable rapid experimentation, retraining, and continuous improvement at scale\nDefine and run rigorous evaluation frameworks and benchmarks to ensure model quality, robustness, and reliability\nTurn innovative ideas into patents and shipped product features, partnering closely with engineering, product, and domain experts\nMentor engineers and set high technical standards across research, experimentation, and productionization\nQualifications\nStrong track record delivering advanced AI systems from research through to production at a senior level\nDeep, hands-on expertise in modern AI, including large language models, generative AI, and agentic architectures\nProven ability to design and build novel model architectures and iterate rapidly toward measurable outcomes\nSolid experience with automated training pipelines, training orchestration, and scalable model evaluation\nPractical experience applying reinforcement learning in real product or research settings\nExcellent Python skills and strong software engineering fundamentals for building reliable, maintainable AI systems\nStrong communication and leadership skills, thriving in a fast-paced, cross-functional team\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with model fine-tuning, RLHF, or building agentic tool-use systems\nFamiliarity with retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge graphs, or structured enterprise data\nExperience deploying AI in Design, Manufacturing, PLM, or industrial domains\nHistory of patents, publications, or shipped AI products\nWhy Us\nAt Siemens Software, flexibility is how we work-hybrid by default, built on trust and autonomy.
