Then it seems like you’d make a great addition to our vibrant international team.\nWe are looking for Senior Analytics Engineer\nYou’ll break new ground by:\nAct as a key consultant and enabler for data teams across Siemens, helping them tackle complex data modeling and data warehousing challenges.\nBuild outstanding, scalable data models by extracting and transforming data from various sources.\nShape and implement the data architecture, including standards for data models, metadata, and security, ensuring adherence to the overall architectural vision.\nDrive best practices in a DataOps environment, participating in code reviews, retrospectives, and encouraging a culture of knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.\nImplement effective and sophisticated database solutions in Snowflake to store, retrieve, and transform company data for analytical applications.\nProduce meaningful metrics and logs to debug, trace, and supervise data pipelines and models, ensuring high data quality and reliability.\nBe a valued technical leader, mentor, collaborator, and champion of best practices within an autonomous, cross-functional agile team.\nYou’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:\nA bachelors’ degree in IT, Engineering, Economics, or a related quantitative field.\nExtensive experience in data engineering and data warehousing, with a consistent record of building and maintaining complex data models.\nExpert-level programming skills in SQL and deep proficiency with dbt.\nStrong experience working with cloud data warehouses, particularly Snowflake.\nFamiliarity with modern data ingestion frameworks and tools such as SnapLogic or Confluent Cloud.\nProficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language, preferably Python.\nProven experience with major Cloud technologies (AWS, GCP, Azure) and working in agile software development environments.\nA problem-solving and data-first approach, with the ability to create real business value.\nExcellent command of English is required and German is an added advantage.\nCreate a better #TomorrowWithUs!\nThis role is based in Pune/Bangalore, where you’ll get the chance to work with teams impacting entire cities, countries - and the shape of things to come.\nWe value your unique identity and perspective and are fully committed to providing equitable opportunities and building a workplace that reflects the diversity of society.
