Then it seems like you’d make a great addition to our vibrant international team.\nWe are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer\nYou’ll make a difference by:\nSiemens Mobility’s Railigent X platform processes large volumes of operational data from railway assetsto enable predictive maintenance, analytics and digital services. \n\nWe are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who supports the deployment, operation and automationof data workloads and platform components running in Kubernetes-based environments\nacross cloud and hybrid infrastructure.\n\n What will you contribute?\nOperating and improving Kubernetes-based data workloads and services\nManaging deployments using GitOps workflows (ArgoCD)\nMaintaining Helm-based deployment templates and Kubernetes configurations\nSupporting CI/CD pipelines and repository management in GitLab\nMonitoring platform health using Prometheus, Grafana and alerting systems\nSupporting API deployments and integrations including OIDC authentication via Keycloak\nSupporting API gateway deployments (e.g. Envoy Gateway) for internal and customer-facing services\nOperating multi-tenant Kubernetes environments (vCluster-based deployments)\nSupporting data platform components such as Kafka-based pipelines and analytical query engines\nAutomating infrastructure and operational processes across cloud and hybrid environments\nProactively identifying platform improvements and reliability risks\n What do you bring?\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a comparable qualification\nExperience working as a DevOps Engineer or Platform Engineer\nStrong hands-on experience with Kubernetes in production environments\nExperience with Helm and Kubernetes templating\nExperience with GitOps deployment models (ArgoCD preferred)\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and GitLab\nExperience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana)\nExperience working with Linux-based environments\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills\nStrong ownership mindset and proactive working style\nAbility to independently identify problems and drive solutions\nFluent English communication skills\n Nice to have\nExperience with data platform technologies such as Kafka, Trino or Apache Pinot\nExperience with multi-tenant Kubernetes deployments (vCluster)\nExperience with API gateways (Envoy or similar)\nExperience with OIDC/OAuth authentication and Keycloak integration\nExperience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform)\nExperience with AWS networking concepts (VPC, Subnets, Load Balancers)\nYour success is grounded in:\n6-8 years of experience is required.\nGreat Communication skills.\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills\nJoin us and be yourself!\nWe value your unique identity and perspective and are fully committed to providing equitable opportunities and building a workplace that reflects the diversity of society.
