The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background in machine learning and data science, with strong experience in developing and deploying models in real-world production environments. This role requires an individual who works independently, takes ownership of projects, communicates effectively, and thrives in a collaborative team setting.\nYou’ll make an impact by:\nSolution Development: Design, develop, and implement end-to-end machine learning pipelines for various use cases to improve our internal Siemens processes.\nTechnical Leadership: Provide expertise in ML engineering best practices, including data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, deployment, and incorporating MLOps and LLMOps approaches for scalable and maintainable solutions.\nProject Ownership and Management: Lead projects from conception to deployment, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.\nCollaboration: Work closely with an international team of diverse backgrounds, including engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to integrate AI solutions into existing systems.\nCommunication: Clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and team members. Comfort with proactively raising concerns, suggesting alternatives, and engaging in constructive debate when appropriate\nMentorship: Mentor junior team members and contribute to the overall skill development within the team.\nYou’re excited to build on your existing expertise, including:\nEducation: Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or a related field.\nPreferred 7+ Years of Experience in machine learning engineering or data science roles.\nDemonstrated ability to manage and deliver complex projects.\nStrong Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.\nExperience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).\nExperience with cloud-native ML development (Azure, AWS).\nFamiliarity with large language models and natural language processing as well as experience with LLM frameworks (langchain, promptflow)\nProven ability to deliver end-to-end projects (i.e. from exploration to endpoint serving)\nKnowledge of big data technologies (Snowflake, Spark).\nExperience with data visualization tools and libraries.\nKnowledge of software development best practices, including version control (e.g., GitLab) and collaborative coding.\nCreate a Better #TomorrowWithUs!\nThis role is based in Bangalore, offering the opportunity to work with teams that impact entire cities, countries-and the shape of things to come.\nWe value your unique identity and perspective and are fully committed to providing equitable opportunities and building a workplace that reflects the diversity of society.
