The role requires strong expertise in Indian Railways signalling systems, hands-on experience with Electronic Interlocking (EI), and the ability to apply AI/ML techniques to improve operational efficiency, safety, and system intelligence.\nDevelop and implement AI-based solutions for railway signalling and control systems.\nWork on special projects involving predictive maintenance, anomaly detection, and operational optimization.\nAnalyze signalling data (track circuits, point machines, signals, interlocking logic) to derive actionable insights.\nCollaborate with system engineering teams to integrate AI models into existing signalling infrastructure.\nDesign and validate algorithms for safety-critical railway applications.\nSupport testing, commissioning, and validation of Electronic Interlocking systems.\nPrepare technical documentation, design reports, and performance analysis.\nEnsure compliance with Indian Railways standards and safety requirements.\n Your success is grounded in:Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical, Computer Science, or related field.\nStrong understanding of Indian Railways signalling concepts, including:\nInterlocking principles\nRoute setting logic\nTrack circuits and point detection\n Hands-on experience with Electronic Interlocking (EI) systems.\n Knowledge of signalling standards, safety protocols, and fail-safe design principles.\n AI / Technical Skills\n Experience in AI/ML frameworks (Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.).\n Strong programming skills in Python and/or C/C++.\n Experience in data analysis, model development, and deployment.\n Familiarity with:\n Predictive analytics\n Computer vision or anomaly detection (preferred)\n Edge computing or embedded systems (added advantage)\nExperience\n3-8 years of experience in railway signalling projects.\n Experience working on Indian Railways or metro signalling projects.\n Exposure to digital twins, IoT-based monitoring, or smart rail solutions.\n Experience with system integration and testing in safety-critical environments.\nKey Competencies\n Problem-solving mindset with innovation focus\n Strong analytical and debugging skills\n Ability to work on cross-functional and special projects\n Good communication and documentation skills\n Understanding of safety-critical system development\n Join us and be yourself!\nWe value your unique identity and perspective and are fully committed to providing equitable opportunities and building a workplace that reflects the diversity of society.
