Who knows where our shared journey will take you?\nWe are looking for a Senior Golang Microservices Developer.\nYou’ll make a difference by:\nDesigning, developing, and maintaining robust, scalable, and high-performance microservices using Go (Golang).\nImplementing secure and efficient RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless inter-service communication across distributed systems.\nLeveraging Restate to build highly available, stateful serverless applications with a focus on reliability and operational excellence.\nArchitecting and implementing complex microservices orchestration patterns, ensuring transactional consistency and fault tolerance.\nDesigning and developing advanced event processing workflows in event-driven architectures.\nLeading the implementation and optimization of event-driven communication using Apache Kafka.\nDeveloping high-performance Kafka producers and consumers for real-time data ingestion, processing, and distribution.\nEnsuring reliable message delivery, processing efficiency, and system responsiveness within event-driven ecosystems.\nDesigning, implementing, and managing scalable database solutions (SQL/NoSQL) tailored for microservices, ensuring data integrity and performance.\nProactively identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks across microservices and Kafka systems, improving overall system efficiency and reliability.\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams including product management, frontend, QA, and operations to deliver high-quality solutions.\nPartnering with enterprise architects to align with technical vision, best practices, and organizational standards.\nMentoring junior engineers and contributing to a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.\nCreating and maintaining high-quality technical documentation including architecture designs, API specifications, and operational guides.\nYou’ll win us over by:\nHolding a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.\nHaving 5+ years of experience in software development with strong expertise in microservices architecture.\nDemonstrating deep proficiency in Go (Golang) and backend development frameworks.\nPossessing strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka in building event-driven systems.\nHaving practical experience with Restate for microservices orchestration, stateful serverless patterns, and event processing.\nBeing proficient in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.\nHaving experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Cassandra, or other SQL/NoSQL systems.\nBringing a strong understanding of distributed systems, concurrency, and fault tolerance.\nHaving exposure to cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.\nDemonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.\nShowing ownership and accountability in delivering high-quality solutions on time.\nPersonal Attributes:\nExcellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical ideas clearly.\nStrong collaboration skills to work effectively in global, cross-functional teams.\nProactive, self-driven, and adaptable to fast-paced environments.\nDemonstrates leadership qualities and a passion for mentoring and knowledge sharing.\nTakes ownership and actively seeks clarity to drive tasks to completion.\nJoin us and be yourself!\nThis role, based in Pune, is an individual contributor position.
