The role involves complete ownership of design deliverables, coordination with internal teams, and support through testing and commissioning phases.\nDesign Ownership & Execution\n Prepare, review, and validate:\nSignalling Interlocking Plans (SIP)\nEquipment Layout Plans (ELP)\nControl/Selection Tables\n Develop detailed:\nInterface Circuits\nCable Route Plans & Core Allocation\nCable Termination Rack (CTR) designs\nPower Supply and IPS schemes\n Electronic Interlocking (EI)\nDevelop EI application logic and system architecture\nPrepare and validate VDU layouts\nInterface with OEMs (e.g., Kyosan) for system integration\n Project Coordination & Execution\nWork closely with cross-functional teams (Design, T&C, Site Execution)\nCoordinate with customers and represent design team in meetings\nPresent progress updates and prepare Monthly Progress Reports (MPR)\nTesting & Commissioning Support\nProvide engineering support during:\nIFAT, CFAT, SAT, and Commissioning\nResolve site queries and implement necessary design modifications\n Compliance & Documentation\nEnsure adherence to:\nIRSEM, G&SR, RDSO standards\nContribute to safety documentation (HAZOP/FMEA, technical notes)\nMaintain proper version control and documentation records\n Analysis & Continuous Improvement\nPerform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for engineering/design issues\nIdentify improvement areas in design and execution processes\nYour success is grounded in:\n3+ years in Railway Signalling Design & Testing\nB.E./B.Tech in Electrical (EEE) or Electronics (ECE)\nStrong academic record (typically ≥70%) with no active backlogs\nRequired Skills\nTechnical Skills\nStrong knowledge of:\nIRSEM, G&SR, and Indian Railways signalling principles\nElectronic Interlocking systems\nProficiency in:\nAutoCAD / MicroStation\nMS Excel & PowerPoint\nIRSETLO / IRSE license is an added advantage.\n Behavioural & Leadership Skills\nStrong communication (written and verbal)\nCustomer-facing capability and presentation skills\nOwnership mindset with ability to drive tasks independently\nEffective coordination and stakeholder management\n Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nAccuracy of design deliverables (minimal errors during testing)\nAdherence to project timelines and milestones\nSmooth regulatory approvals (RDSO/CRS)\nStakeholder satisfaction (internal & external)\nJoin us and be yourself!\nWe value your unique identity and perspective and are fully committed to providing equitable opportunities and building a workplace that reflects the diversity of society.
