Work closely with development and infrastructure teams to resolve failures efficiently. Utilize existing automated tools to streamline the integration build process. Work with the Pipeline Operations team to reduce overhead by developing a more efficient and maintainable build system.\nSpecific Responsibilities:\nMonitor and maintain the health of code integrations and product builds within TeamCity.\nManage and enhance the build system by investigating root causes, resolving issues, and improving maintainability.\nIntroduce and maintain build configurations and revisions within TeamCity.\nCollaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of build and integration issues.\nCoordinate with infrastructure teams to identify, report, and resolve system and machine failures.\nPartner with the Pipeline Operations team to modernize and modularize the build and release pipeline.\nContribute to the migration of build and release processes toward GitHub and GitLab-based pipelines.\nIntroduce and support new Visual Studio releases and associated toolchains.\nUpgrade and maintain pipeline tooling, including signing tools, Python environments, compilers, and related dependencies.\nImplement infrastructure and IT updates while ensuring continued build and release functionality.\nMaintain centralized credential management and ensure alignment with organizational standards.\nSupport the migration of build infrastructure and services into datacenter environments.\nProvide technical support to development teams, addressing issues ranging from automated build failures to local workstation problems.\nCollaborate with tooling teams to identify, implement, and validate fixes.\nConfigure and maintain Coverity analysis, communicating findings and recommendations to development teams.\nEnhance and maintain Conan package management infrastructure and workflows.\nExtend and support end-to-end build and release pipelines, from source control through installation packaging.\nManage build promotion, release readiness, and distribution processes.\nAdminister and maintain persistent build and pipeline data.\nAnalyze unstable or intermittent test failures, driving reproducibility and resolution.\nIntegrate and maintain external Jenkins-based documentation pipelines.\nAssist with the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of new build infrastructure.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nExperience with Simcenter Testlab is a plus.\nStrong understanding of TeamCity or similar continuous integration platforms.\nExperience troubleshooting and resolving build, integration, and deployment issues.\nFamiliarity with CI/CD practices and modern software delivery methodologies.\nStrong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across development and infrastructure teams.\nDemonstrated attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving.\nExperience with Python and Windows batch scripting.\nFamiliarity with C++ and/or C# development environments.\nExperience with build automation tools and technologies, including Make or similar systems.\nUnderstanding of source control systems such as Git.\nExperience working with package management and artifact repositories, such as Conan, is a plus.\nWorking at Siemens Software\nA collection of over 377,000 minds building the future one day at a time in over 200 countries.
