Safety Management\nImplement site-specific EHS plans, procedures and risk controls.\nEnsure compliance with client and company EHS requirements.\nConduct site EHS inspections and audits.\nVerify adequacy of safety arrangements before commencement of work.\nMonitor contractor safety performance and compliance.\n2. Risk Assessment & Permit Management\nFacilitate Job Safety Analysis (JSA), Risk Assessment and Method Statement reviews.\nMonitor Permit to Work (PTW) activities including:\nEnsure LOTO (Lockout-Tagout) requirements are implemented.\n3. Electrical Safety\nMonitor safety during: Control panel installation, Instrumentation works, Cable pulling and termination, Energization activities, Testing & commissioning works\nVerify electrical tools and equipment inspections.\nEnsure use of insulated tools and appropriate PPE.\nMonitor temporary electrical installations.\n4. Work at Height Safety\nEnsure compliance with working-at-height requirements.\nVerify scaffold inspections and tagging.\nConduct periodic inspections of access platforms and work areas.\n6. Contractor Safety Management\nConduct contractor EHS induction.\nMonitor contractor manpower competency.\nEnsure availability of trained supervisors and operators.\nParticipate in contractor performance evaluations.\n7. Training & Awareness\nConduct: Site safety induction, Daily toolbox talks, Safety campaigns, Safety observations, Work-specific trainings\nPromote proactive safety culture at site.\n8. Incident Management\nReport incidents, near misses and unsafe conditions.\nParticipate in incident investigations.\nIdentify root causes and corrective actions.\nTrack closure of action items.\n9. Emergency Preparedness\nSupport implementation of emergency response plans.\nConduct mock drills.\nEnsure availability and inspection of: Fire extinguishers, First aid boxes, Emergency equipment\n10. Documentation & Reporting\nSubmit EHS reports to EHS Head and\nWhat You Bring\n\nQualification & Experience\nAdvanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS)\nDiploma in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / B.Sc.\nMinimum 3-7 years of relevant EHS experience in industrial projects, turbine-generator overhauling, electrical installation, or maintenance activities.\nNEBOSH IGC\nIOSH Managing Safely\nFirst Aid & CPR Certification\nInternal Auditor Training on ISO 45001\nElectrical Safety Training\nStrong knowledge of construction and industrial safety practices.\nKnowledge of electrical safety and LOTO.\nUnderstanding of turbine-generator maintenance activities.\nExperience in cable tray installation and cable laying projects.\nKnowledge of Permit to Work Systems.\nIncident investigation techniques.\nGood communication and leadership skills.\nAbility to stop unsafe work and implement corrective actions.\nTechnical Knowledge Required:\nISO 45001 Occupational Health & Safety Management System\nFactories Act and applicable state safety regulations\nBuilding & Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act\nElectrical Safety Rules\nPermit to Work System\nLOTO\nWork at Height\nLifting Operations & Rigging\nConfined Space Safety\nFire & Emergency Management\nContractor Safety Management\nWho is Siemens Energy India?\nSiemens Energy India Limited (SEIL) has been a strategic partner in India for more than 100 years and is focused on being the most-valued energy technology company.
