Our mission is to empower engineering teams with reliable, integrated, and intelligent software solutions that improve productivity, standardization, and engineering excellence.\nWe are looking for a highly skilled Senior Technical Lead / Local Architect to join our engineering team supporting Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) solutions built around the MagicDraw ecosystem. This role combines software architecture, hands-on development, technical leadership, and AI-enabled software engineering practices.\nThe ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java-based enterprise software development, experience with Eclipse-based platforms and plugin architectures, and the ability to design scalable, maintainable solutions. The candidate will work closely with global architects and product owners to develop and enhance MagicDraw plugins, model management solutions, reporting frameworks, code generation tools, and cloud-based model collaboration platforms.\nThe role requires a strong architectural mindset, systematic problem-solving approach, critical thinking, and the ability to leverage AI-assisted development tools while maintaining high engineering standards and software quality.\nKey Responsibilities:\nTechnical Architecture & Leadership\nAct as the local technical authority and architecture point of contact for the India development team.\nDrive solution architecture, technical design reviews, and implementation strategies.\nDefine and enforce software architecture guidelines, coding standards, and development best practices.\nEvaluate architectural trade-offs and ensure maintainability, scalability, and performance of solutions.\nCollaborate with global architects, product owners, and stakeholders on roadmap and technical strategy.\nSoftware Development:\nDesign, develop, and maintain Java-based applications, Eclipse plugins, and MagicDraw extensions.\nContribute hands-on to development of MBSE-related tooling, code generators, validation frameworks, reporting solutions, and model management utilities.\nDevelop integrations between MagicDraw, Teamwork Cloud, AI services, and enterprise systems.\nSupport modernization initiatives and technology evolution across the platform ecosystem.\nPerform code reviews and mentor developers across the team.\nAI-Assisted Engineering:\nPromote effective usage of AI-assisted development tools.\nDefine best practices for AI-generated code validation and quality assurance.\nApply critical thinking and systematic engineering approaches to avoid introducing architectural or code-quality issues through AI-generated content.\nSupport implementation of AI-enabled capabilities, including model interaction and LLM integration scenarios.\nTeam & Stakeholder Collaboration:\nMentor and coach engineers.\nSupport onboarding and technical ramp-up of new team members.\nWork within Agile/Scrum development environments.\nCoordinate with global teams.\nRequired Qualifications: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, or related field.\nExperience:\n10+ years of software development experience.\n3+ years of technical leadership or architecture experience.\nStrong experience designing enterprise-grade software systems.\n Mandatory Technical Skills\nStrong expertise in Java development\nObject-Oriented Design and Design Patterns\nSoftware Architecture and System Design\nEclipse-based application development\nMaven build system\nGit-based source control\nCI/CD concepts and tools\nREST APIs and Integration Development\nAgile/Scrum methodologies\nPreferred/Nice-to-Have Skills\nMagicDraw / Cameo Systems Modeler\nModel-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)\nEclipse EMF (Eclipse Modeling Framework)\nXtend / Xtext\nKotlin\nJenkins\nGitLab CI/CD\nArtifactory/Falcon\nTeamwork Cloud (TWC)\nDocument generation frameworks\nApache Velocity Templates\nLarge Language Models (LLMs) and AI-assisted development\nRailway, Mobility, Industrial Automation, or Safety-Critical Systems domain\nYour success is grounded in:\n10+ years of experience is required.\nGreat Communication skills.\nAnalytical and problem-solving skills\nAbility to work independently in a global and multicultural environment.\nCommitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.\nJoin us and be yourself!\nWe value your unique identity and perspective and are fully committed to providing equitable opportunities and building a workplace that reflects the diversity of society.
