Design, develop, modify, and implement software programming for products (both internal and external) with focus on surpassing customer expectations, on achieving high quality and on- time delivery.Responsible for ensuring the overall functional quality of the released product on all required platforms and mechanisms.Ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems. Creates, documents, and executes software designs which may involve significant re-architecture of important systems, defining and coordinating implementation of wide-reaching impacts.Acts as Technical lead of major projects within one area of a product. Technical Lead in guiding junior engineers.\nEssential Functions:\nLead the design, implementation and maintenance of complex software modules and subsystems within the company EDA software suite \nCollaborate with product management and other stakeholders to define software requirements and specifications \nArchitect scalable and efficient software solutions that address performance, reliability, and usability requirements \nEnsure each business problem is satisfied by a single technical solution \nComplete implementation strategy and get stakeholders agreements • Collaborate across projects and teams \nConduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback and mentors team members / interns / students to foster a cutler of continuous learning and improvement \nInvestigate and resolve technical issues reported by customers or identified during testing and validation activities \nSupport for transition major U. S. customers from Teamcenter On premises to Teamcenter X cloud product \nContribute to planning effort, provide accurate estimation of task \nReport accurate status to scrum master and help refine breakdown \nKeep project tools like git issue board, polarion-to-date \nEnsure product change like merge request includes unit test \nMaintain first time quality - no avoidable merge request rework \nDrive achievement of zero defects in delivered enhancements / features and no acceptance criteria failures \nWork to ensure there no regression in units / performance due to release node promotes\nComplete timely and accurate status updates to story / defect scraped \nEnsure escalation response - customer reported priority1 issues have daily update and one working week response cycle \nAdopt best practices while generating code using LLM (large language models) \nEnsure architecture consider best practices for microservice development \nEnsure architecture evaluates best programming language choice for enterprise level product implementation \nEnsure architecture makes appropriate decision for on-prem solution vs cloud platform like AWS, Azure, Google etc \nEnsure architecture includes AI based agentic framework while Design and maintain agent runtimes, secure function-calling, tool integrations, and orchestration patterns \nEnsure AI architecture direction, reference architectures, guardrails, and adoption roadmaps for engineering and products \nEnsure architecture includes Observability and Reliability: Instrument agentic services for metrics, logs, and traces; define SLIs/SLOs and operational runbooks. \nAdvise senior stakeholders on AI opportunities, architecture, investment, dependencies, and risks, translating strategy into implementable plans \nGuide Select cloud, hybrid, or Local AI approaches based on data sensitivity, IP, residency, connectivity, latency, security, and cost \nAssess customer, domain, operational, and regulatory needs with product teams; determine where AI adds value and recommend an evidence-based approach. \nGuide suitable product AI opportunities from discovery through design, validation, release, and operation with product, systems, engineering, quality, cybersecurity, and operations teams. \nDefine reusable product patterns for data, models, retrieval, inference, integration, and deployment across Local AI, hybrid, and cloud, aligned to product context. \nEstablish risk-appropriate verification, human oversight, monitoring, updates, incident response, fallback, and rollback practices are followed\nSkills and Abilities Required:\nStrong time management skills and the ability to be self-directed Experience with service-oriented architecture and web application/services development \nExperience with Object Oriented modern JavaScript Frameworks (Angular JS, Ember JS, Dojo, etc.) \nExperience with UI/UX design for complex workflows and/or for technical end users / domain experts \nExperience building complex, scalable, high-performance software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers \nActive on Github or StackOverflow \nComfortable with the Linux command line and Git \nSharp analytical abilities and proven design skills \nExperience with distributed computing and enterprise-wide systems \nExperience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior management to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy \nExperience leading and mentoring junior software engineers, and make them more effective, product software engineers \nUnderstanding of microservice development and best practices\nEducation and Experience Requirement:\nTypically requires eight to eleven years of experience and a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent. \nKnowledge of professional software engineering best practices \nKnowledge of Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, Google) and experience in building microservices \nAgent Frameworks: Design and maintain agent runtimes, secure function-calling, tool integrations, and orchestration patterns. \nDeveloper Accelerators: Create SDKs, APIs, templates, and IDE extensions that enable code generation, test creation, and documentation synthesis. \nEnablement and Adoption: Pair with Product management onboard use cases, deliver workshops, playbooks, and office hours; remove blockers and ensure successful rollout. \nQuality and Safety: Implement error analysis, spec-driven development, and BDD-based testing; enforce guardrails, privacy, and policy compliance. \nObservability and Reliability: Instrument agentic services for metrics, logs, and traces;
