Then it seems like you’d make an extraordinary addition to our vibrant international team.\nWe are looking for a Sub System Test Engineer: IXL - Railway Infrastructure\nWork assignments:\nResponsibility for the test execution/management of mass transit or main line rollouts of Interlocking (IxL) projects for CBTC/ Non-CBTC signaling Systems as part of large-scale railway infrastructure projects. Ensuring economic success and (internal) customer satisfaction for IxL domain in CBTC/ Non-CBTC application projects Carrying responsibility for the lab data testing scope. Representation of the Test Team within a project when communicating to internal stakeholders, whilst reporting to the line management (test manager/group lead). Ensuring compliance with defined procedures/processes.\nExploration of further business opportunities:\nIdentification and exploitation of additional business opportunities during project implementation, e.g. identifying Change Requests or extending the scope towards project needs.\nYou’ll make a difference by:\nPreparation of test checklist specific to project and Develop test specification / test cases as per IXL design requirement specifications.\nResponsible for data lab testing of IxL Sub-systems in Test lab using real and simulated test environments.\nReview / verification of all documents related to Lab data testing.\nEvaluation of project, customer, rolling stock and internal requirements towards implementing suitable project specific test cases and test documentation.\nDetailed knowhow on functional aspects of IxL and its interface with other subsystems like ATC and ATS with CBTC/non-CBTC.\nKnowledge about testing and commissioning process and Strategy.\nWork with development team to identify and capture test cases, ensure version management\nKnowledge of test automation for IxL testing\nSetting up test environments, writing test scripts and implementing test cases/scenarios.\nProviding feedback on usability and serviceability, trace the result to quality risk and report it to concerned people.\nReviewing test logs and results to identify failures, raising CFXs in the change and defect management tool, participating in CCB meetings, and providing test inputs.\nInterfacing/Clarification with senior test engineer, test manager, System Manager/Sub PM, Validation, RAMS and project teams.\nInterfacing with HQ teams towards tooling requirements, developing/adapting templates/schematics, and parameterization.\nAble to support installation and tests activities/teams onsite if required.\nUnderstanding other subsystems like ATS, ATC, Communication and Diagnostic Systems.\nKnowledge of Projects Support functions (RM/DM/CM) and Quality Management.\nEssential Soft and Hard skills for IXL Functional Tester:\nBasic Knowledge of Linux.\nExperience with VMware.\nNetworking knowledge.\nTroubleshooting skills for the Test Environment.\nAbility to understand and implement IP addressing, subnetting, interface configuration, routing principles, and gateway setup.\nFundamental understanding of server environments, including ESXi and Windows.\nPractical experience with Siemens products, particularly WKII, R9k, TGMT, and TG200, will be an added advantage.\nYou’ll win us over by:\nDegree in electrical or electronics engineering.\nProfessional experience of minimum 5 years in railway transportation systems (Main line / Mass Transit) with the focus on testing in IXL sub-system (CBTC / Non CBTC).\nPerformed hands on testing activities for IXL subsystem besides understanding of operational scenarios, requirements, and interfaces.\nExperience with Functional testing, lab testing, test setups.
