The right candidate willprovide technical expertise, leadership, and accountability for all installed projects, technical support programs, and time-and-materials (T&M) work.\nAs aSupervisor -Fire/Life SafetySystems Solutionsyou will:\n Supervise, train, and mentor the System Specialist team; set goals, monitor performance, conduct employee review meetings, and schedule formal training and Guide and support the team on planning and managing construction projects through completion.\n Schedule and assign installation and commissioning tasks to the team and ensure schedules are maintained and projects proceed according to plans, job specifications, and cost estimates\n Maintain and improve planned and booked margins for technical support programs\n Direct and supervise the development and use of project plans in monitoring and controlling the execution of work and review customer feedback and ensure customer retention and account growth goals such as adds, extras, upgrades, and escalations are achieved\n Maintain the relationships between sales, engineering, and executions teams so changes and discrepancies can be managed to minimize cost and delay throughout the estimating and execution phases of projects and accountable for the profit and loss of projects assigned to the operations team and serve as a local a Leader and customer representative for the operations team \n Support project profitability through cost-containment procedures and processes and travel between branch locations as needed\n Maintain excellent organizational and interpersonal skills\n\nYou will make an impact with these qualifications:\n Basic Qualifications: \n High school diploma or state-recognized GED \n 1+ years of experience supervising industry specific technical trades teams\n 5+ years of experience in engineering or project management \n On-the-job or educational experience with:\nCommercial building Fire/Life Safety or Security Systems - including knowledge of design, startup, programming, integration, documentation, and commissioning\n Managing project delivery teams\nAbility and willingness to train, mentor, schedule, and supervise employees responsible for commercial building Fire/Life Safety or Security Systemsstartup\n Verbal and written communication skills in English\n Ability and willingness to travel 15%\n Experience with Microsoft Office and cloud-based collaboration software such as Teams or OneDrive\nMust be 21years of age and possessa valid driver's license with limited violations; must meet eligibility requirements to participatein Siemens' fleet vehicle program\n Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship\n Preferred Qualifications: \n Bachelor’s degree \n 3+ years of experience supervising industry specific technical trades teams \n 5+ years’ experience in engineering or project management \n\nReady to create your own journey?
